Google Cloud launches Gemini Enterprise to power the next era of workplace AI

Google Cloud launches Gemini Enterprise, a unified AI platform that automates complex workflows and transforms workplace productivity.

Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise, a comprehensive agentic AI platform designed to transform how organisations automate complex tasks and workflows. Now available globally, including in Singapore, Gemini Enterprise brings together Google’s most advanced AI technologies into a single, integrated platform that connects directly with a company’s data, applications, and processes.

At its core, Gemini Enterprise combines the power of Google’s Gemini models with a taskforce of pre-built AI agents, a no-code workbench for creating custom agents, and a governance framework for managing them. The platform integrates seamlessly with business tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and SAP, allowing enterprises to ground AI agents in their organisational context and securely orchestrate multi-step workflows.

“Gemini Enterprise is designed on the premise that true business transformation in the era of AI must go beyond simple chatbots,” said Sundar Pichai, Chief Executive Officer of Google and Alphabet. “It is an AI-powered conversational platform built to bring the full power of Google AI to every employee for every workflow.”

Thomas Kurian, Chief Executive Officer of Google Cloud, added: “The first wave of AI has been stuck in silos, unable to orchestrate complex work across entire organisations. True transformation requires a comprehensive platform that connects to your context, your workflows, and your people – and that’s exactly what Google Cloud has built with Gemini Enterprise.”

Driving real-world outcomes

Gemini Enterprise is designed to automate end-to-end workflows rather than just assist with isolated tasks. Through a simple chat interface, employees can interact with documents, data, and applications, and build or deploy AI agents tailored to their organisation’s needs. The platform also supports native integrations through shared standards such as the Agent2Agent protocol for agent communication, the Agent Payments Protocol for secure transactions, and the Agent Development Kit for building and deploying modular systems.

“Gemini Enterprise transcends the idea of simplifying one task in a single application. It’s about improving entire workflows by mobilising multi-step AI agents that can find and understand information across all your enterprise systems,” said Karan Bajwa, President, Asia Pacific, Google Cloud. Organisations such as AirAsia brand-owner Abc, FairPrice Group, GovTech Singapore, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, and Macquarie Bank are already using Gemini Enterprise to enhance productivity and innovation.

Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A and acting CEO of Abc, said: “Through AirAsia brand-owner Abc, we are deploying Gemini Enterprise as a shared suite of platform tools for our brand licensees. This means putting intelligent, ready-to-use AI agents into the hands of employees everywhere, helping them shift from tedious tasks to strategic impact.”

Richard Heeley, Head of Technology, Banking and Financial Services at Macquarie Group, noted: “Every single employee at Macquarie Bank has access to Gemini Enterprise to boost their productivity, spark new ideas, and make their work more meaningful. We are encouraging all our employees to become AI-literate and ready for this new world.”

Gemini Enterprise will also support the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games (LA28) as part of Google Cloud’s role as the official cloud provider. Together with Google Workspace, it will help plan and manage logistics for more than 70,000 volunteers and workforce members.

Expanding AI capabilities and ecosystem

Google Cloud is introducing several new features and integrations to extend Gemini Enterprise’s capabilities. A new Data Science agent automates data wrangling, exploration, and model development, while pre-built agents such as Deep Research, Idea Generation, and NotebookLM Enterprise help employees generate insights, develop ideas, and distil information from multiple sources.

The platform also integrates with Google Cloud’s Customer Engagement Suite, enabling next-generation conversational AI agents that support more than 40 languages and work across telephony, web, mobile, email, and chat. These agents use real-time business context for deeper personalisation and can be managed alongside internal agents within the same governance framework.

Google Cloud continues to expand its partner ecosystem, which now includes more than 100,000 technology and consultancy partners such as Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, and Tata Consultancy Services. This ecosystem enables organisations to accelerate deployment, build custom agents, and integrate cross-platform workflows out of the box. A new AI agent marketplace helps organisations find and deploy validated third-party agents, while offering partners new ways to market and monetise their solutions.

To support workforce readiness, Google Cloud has launched Google Skills, a free training platform offering over 3,000 courses and labs. It has also introduced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready (GEAR) programme, aimed at training one million developers to build enterprise AI agents, and Gemini Agent Foundry, a global hackathon and marketplace for enterprise-grade agents. Additionally, Delta embeds Google Cloud AI engineers within customer teams to tackle complex challenges.

“These programmes are all designed to do one thing: help you and your teams build your future with AI,” said Kurian. “Google Cloud is the only partner with the full set of offerings that can be tailored to your organisation’s needs, delivering real business value and driving ROI from your AI investments.”
