LG Electronics hosts its first HVAC Consultant Leaders' Summit in Seoul, aiming to expand and strengthen its market leadership in Asia.

LG Electronics is hosting its first LG HVAC Consultant Leaders’ Summit—LG Alumni Event—in Seoul, South Korea, from May 28 to May 31, 2024. Technical consultants play a crucial role in the HVAC industry, offering vital support in system design, installation guidance, and maintenance. By working closely with these experts, LG aims to enhance the customer experience with its industry-leading HVAC solutions. The summit provides a vital platform for these consultants to deepen their knowledge of LG’s advanced technologies and industry best practices, crucial for navigating the specific challenges and opportunities in their markets.

The demand for intelligent HVAC systems in Asia is growing, fuelled by an increase in commercial construction and stringent government energy-saving regulations. This makes the region a key market for LG’s expansion. The company is capitalising on this potential by developing cutting-edge heat pump systems in partnership with universities and research institutes. In 2023, LG announced an ambitious plan to more than double its sales volume in the residential and commercial HVAC sectors by 2030, aiming to cement its position as a leading global provider of HVAC solutions.

Throughout the summit, participants are engaging in seminars led by industry experts, covering critical topics such as zero-carbon buildings and the integration of HVAC systems with artificial intelligence. These discussions are enhancing the consultants’ understanding of current trends and preparing them for future technological advancements in the industry.

James Lee, head of the Air Solution Business Unit at LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company, said, “It’s a pleasure to be sharing our cutting-edge technologies and industry insights with professional HVAC consultants from some of Asia’s most dynamic markets. We will continue to collaborate closely with our consultant network to ensure the best customer outcomes and to grow our influence throughout the Asia region.”

With this successful inaugural summit, LG is set to extend its consultant network globally, targeting other high-growth regions such as Central and South America, further enhancing its reach and operational scope.
