OPPO Find X9 Ultra centres on long-range zoom and dual 200MP sensors
OPPO Find X9 Ultra focuses on 10x optical zoom and dual 200MP cameras for advanced mobile photography and video workflows.
OPPO has introduced the Find X9 Ultra, positioning it as a camera-focused flagship built around extended zoom capability and high-resolution imaging hardware. The device combines a 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera with dual 200MP sensors, forming the core of a five-camera rear system developed with Hasselblad.

The launch places emphasis on optical reach and imaging control, with OPPO integrating new lens structures, colour calibration systems, and software modes aimed at photographers and video creators working directly on mobile devices.
A camera system built around zoom and sensor scale
The Find X9 Ultra’s primary differentiation comes from its 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera, designed to deliver extended focal length within a smartphone form factor. It uses a quintuple prism reflection periscope structure that folds the light path five times, allowing a longer lens while reducing module length. OPPO states the system supports 10x true optical zoom and up to 20x optical-quality zoom.
This telephoto sits alongside two 200MP cameras. The main camera uses a 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA 901 sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, while the secondary 3x telephoto uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The latter also supports a 15cm minimum focus distance, allowing it to function as a macro lens.
A 50MP ultra-wide camera and a dedicated multispectral sensor complete the system. The multispectral sensor captures white balance data to maintain colour accuracy across photos and video. Combined, the camera array supports framing from 14mm to 460mm through a mix of optics and cropping.
Hasselblad integration extends to controls and accessories
OPPO continues its collaboration with Hasselblad through the Master Camera System and software modes designed to provide more manual control. The Hasselblad Master Mode enables shooting in 50MP JPEG and RAW formats across multiple focal lengths, with reduced tone mapping to preserve image detail.
Users can apply preset film simulations or create custom profiles. The system supports six focal lengths, from ultra-wide to telephoto, within a unified shooting workflow.
The company also introduced a set of accessories under the Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit. This includes a case with a two-stage shutter button and zoom dial, as well as a detachable 300mm teleconverter. The teleconverter mounts to the 3x telephoto lens, extending reach to a 300mm equivalent focal length and enabling up to 13x optical zoom, with further gains when combined with the 200MP sensor.
Video and performance aimed at production workflows
Video capabilities extend the same camera system into higher-resolution capture. The Find X9 Ultra supports 4K 60fps Dolby Vision HDR recording across zoom ranges from 0.6x to 30x, along with 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps on the 200MP cameras.
For editing workflows, OPPO includes O-Log2, designed to preserve shadow detail and expand dynamic range. The device is also certified with the Academy Color Encoding System, allowing footage to integrate into professional post-production pipelines. Additional tools include 3D LUT support and LUT burn-in for direct colour grading during capture.
The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, paired with a vapor chamber cooling system. A 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery supports extended shooting sessions, with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging available.
Design, software, and availability
The design takes cues from Hasselblad cameras, with a vegan leather back and a lens module styled to resemble aperture blades. The device is available in Tundra Umber and Canyon Orange finishes, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the software side, the Find X9 Ultra runs ColorOS 16. Features include Live Space for notifications, AI Mind Space for content organisation, and AI Mind Pilot, which coordinates multiple AI models for task execution. Additional tools include AI-driven receipt tracking and visual menu translation.
The Find X9 Ultra is available through major carriers, online platforms, and authorised retailers, with pricing starting from S$2,199. Pre-orders begin on 22 April 2026, with promotional pricing and bundled offers available during the launch period.
