OPPO to launch Find X8 Series and ColorOS 15 with advanced features

OPPO’s Find X8 Series, featuring advanced cameras and the new ColorOS 15, will launch globally on 21 November in Bali, Indonesia.

OPPO, a leading global smart device brand, is set to introduce its highly anticipated Find X8 Series along with its new operating system, ColorOS 15. The global launch event will take place on 21 November in Bali, Indonesia, where OPPO will unveil the innovative features of the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, both aimed at setting new standards for flagship smartphones.

Ultra-slim design with powerful zoom technology

Highlighting the unique attributes of the new models, OPPO’s Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, stated: “Until now, flagship camera phones with ultra-zoom, power, battery life, and AI tools have been weighed down by thick, heavy designs, but Find X8 Series changes the game. Find X8 is a thin and light powerhouse with ultra-beating battery life and a periscope zoom. Find X8 Pro takes zoom further, delivering ultra-grade experiences without the bulk. And with ColorOS 15’s smart and smooth experience, Find X8 Series is set to mark an exciting shift for the smartphone industry.”

The Find X8 features an impressive ultra-slim build, equipped with a periscope zoom camera within a sleek 7.85mm-thin frame, weighing just 193g. The device sports a 6.59-inch display with an ultra-narrow 1.45mm symmetrical border, offering a compact form factor that is comfortable to handle while providing an immersive viewing experience. Available in Star Grey, Space Black, and Shell Pink, the Find X8 also has a fingerprint-resistant coating to maintain its aesthetic appeal.

For users who prefer larger screens, the Find X8 Pro offers a 6.78-inch display that delivers an even more immersive experience. The Pro model stands out with quad-curved glass on both sides and is the first OPPO device to feature a dual-periscope telephoto camera for international markets. Available in Space Black and Pearl White, the latter adds an exclusive touch with its unique pearlescent finish, ensuring no two devices look the same.

Next-level camera technology and AI features

Continuing OPPO’s reputation for camera innovation, the Find X8 Series incorporates the latest Hasselblad Master Camera System. Both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro feature the AI Telescope Zoom, enabling zoom levels beyond 10x, a notable leap in smartphone photography. Additionally, the Lightning Snap feature allows for high-speed captures of up to seven images per second without compromising image quality, helping users to capture fast-moving moments with precision.

The Find X8 Series also includes OPPO’s silicon-carbon battery technology, with the Find X8 model equipped with a 5630mAh battery, while the Find X8 Pro features an even larger 5910mAh battery. Paired with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, these batteries are designed to deliver exceptional power efficiency and smooth performance throughout the day.

ColorOS 15: A refined software experience

The launch of ColorOS 15 alongside the Find X8 Series introduces enhanced software capabilities to complement the series’ powerful hardware. ColorOS 15 brings a seamless, intuitive interface with AI-powered tools that simplify daily tasks. Designed with user efficiency in mind, the operating system offers practical visuals and smart features that make essential functions easily accessible.

With the global launch approaching, OPPO is set to showcase how its latest devices and operating system meet the evolving needs of today’s smartphone users. More information about the Find X8 Series and ColorOS 15 will be revealed at the event on 21 November.
