OPPO to launch Find X9 Series globally, redefining mobile photography

OPPO will launch the Find X9 Series globally on 28 October, introducing breakthrough mobile imaging, powerful performance, and refined design.

OPPO is set to launch its latest flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, at a global event in Barcelona on 28 October. Following their successful debut in China, the new devices aim to set a new standard in mobile imaging and flagship smartphone performance.

A new era of mobile imaging

The Find X9 Series represents a significant leap forward in smartphone photography. It features the latest Hasselblad Master Camera System powered by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine, an in-house computational photography solution. The Find X9 Pro further advances imaging capabilities with a 200MP Hasselblad telephoto camera, co-developed with Hasselblad for precise sensor calibration and optical design. This collaboration delivers exceptional clarity and detail, particularly in zoom shots.

“OPPO continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile imaging, uniting industry-leading hardware with state-of-the-art computational photography,” said Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at OPPO. “Together with Hasselblad, we are taking a monumental leap forward in imaging quality with Find X9 Series. Combined with a refined design, extraordinary battery life, and the fast and smooth ColorOS 16, Find X9 Series is set to redefine the flagship experience and inspire a new era of creativity with mobile devices.”

The series also delivers advanced video capabilities, supporting up to 4K 120fps recording in Dolby Vision for smooth, cinematic footage. It introduces LOG recording with ACES support for professional workflows and includes features such as Stage Mode and AI Sound Focus, enabling users to capture high-quality video and audio even from a distance, such as at concerts.

Premium design and powerful performance

The Find X9 Series combines elegant design with ergonomic comfort. The Find X9 is available in Titanium Grey, Space Black, and Velvet Red, while the Find X9 Pro comes in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal. All models feature a refined matte glass finish and matte aluminium frame for improved aesthetics and grip.

The series also offers two precisely crafted flat displays. The Find X9 has a 6.59-inch screen, while the Find X9 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch immersive display. Both are framed by ultra-thin 1.15mm symmetrical bezels on all four sides, maximising screen real estate and visual appeal.

At the core of the new devices is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, one of the first 3nm platforms in the market. This delivers faster performance and improved energy efficiency. Battery life is another highlight, with OPPO’s third-generation silicon-carbon battery technology providing capacities of 7025mAh in the Find X9 and 7500mAh in the Find X9 Pro, offering up to two days of usage on a single charge.

Seamless software and cultural storytelling

Running on the latest ColorOS 16, the Find X9 Series enhances the overall user experience with improved smoothness, intelligence, and connectivity. Features like Seamless Animation and the Luminous Rendering Engine provide a fluid user interface, while OPPO AI introduces tools such as AI Portrait Glow. Extended connectivity allows users to connect seamlessly with PCs, Macs, and accessories, integrating the phone into broader digital workflows.

To celebrate the Find X9 Series’ imaging capabilities, OPPO has continued its collaboration with Discovery Channel through the “Every Culture Finds Its Stage” campaign. The initiative encourages people worldwide to share cultural stories captured with the series’ Hasselblad Telephoto camera. The second chapter, “Culture in a Shot,” spanned 15 countries and documented vibrant festivals and traditions. As the campaign concludes, OPPO is now highlighting cultural performances, showcasing how the Find X9 Series captures every detail and celebrates diversity.

The upcoming launch promises to reveal more about the Find X9 Series and ColorOS 16, marking OPPO’s next major step in redefining smartphone photography and user experience.
