ASUS Republic of Gamers will mark its 20th anniversary at Computex 2026 with a press event and community party in Taipei, tying the milestone to its early roots in PC gaming hardware and its current push into a wider gaming ecosystem.

The ROG Press Event and Party will take place on 1 June from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Syntrend Creative Park. The programme will include remarks from ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih, hosting by gaming actor Ned Luke, hands-on demos, special edition products, ROG Lab, and an evening party for media, fans, and the gaming community.
Anniversary event returns to ROG’s early PC roots
The event venue gives the anniversary a heritage angle. Syntrend Creative Park is located in Taipei’s Guanghua commercial district, an area long associated with Taiwan’s PC-building community and technology enthusiasts.
ROG said the neighbourhood has close ties to its early journey, noting that the first ROG motherboard may have been sold there two decades ago. The choice of venue brings the anniversary event back to a setting linked to the brand’s early motherboard business before it expanded into a broader gaming hardware and software portfolio.
The press event will cover ROG’s development over the past 20 years, including the role of partners, enthusiasts, and gamers in shaping the brand. The company said the event will also look ahead to its future direction, while keeping the anniversary grounded in the For Those Who Dare identity that has been tied to the brand.

The booth presence extends the anniversary showcase beyond the 1 June press event, giving Computex attendees access to ROG’s products and experiences during the main exhibition days.
