ROG unveils the availability of the highly anticipated Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop in Singapore

The new ROG Zephyrus G14 features the latest AMD processor, graphics, and improved AniMe Matrix experience

Republic of Gamers (ROG) is proud to announce the brand new 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402). This powerful machine is packed with the latest hardware, display technology, and cooling. The ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) also has some key improvements to hardware and software for the iconic AniMe Matrix display.

All AMD Muscle

The critically-acclaimed ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) packs plenty of gaming power into a stylish, ultraportable form factor. The new ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) comes with Windows 11 onboard, AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS processor and AMD Radeon RX 6800S Mobile GPU. The laptop also features a MUX Switch to deliver outstanding performance. High speed DDR5 4800MHz RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD enable responsive multitasking across the system, and fast load times in-game.

A custom vapor chamber spans 48.2% of the mainboard, covering the CPU, GPU and VRM. Providing about 50% more contact with system components compared to standard heatpipe designs, it increases thermal transfer for all crucial components. The ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) also comes equipped with Arc Flow Fans that provide a distinct variable fan thickness design to keep airflow high while minimizing turbulence and excess noise. Thermal Grizzly liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU allows the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) to remain cool under all conditions, drastically improving GPU power up to 105W without sacrificing any of the portability of its 14-inch form factor. In the Silent operating mode during low power tasks, 0db ambient cooling technology allows the fans to be automatically disabled for a truly silent experience.

It also supports Dolby Vision HDR with 400 nits of peak brightness and Pantone validation for a stunning, colour-accurate experience. The display has been expanded to a 16:10 aspect ratio, which increases screen real estate without sacrificing portability, since its small bezels offer a 91% screen-to-body ratio.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) reimagined customisation with AniMe Matrix. Introduced in 2020, this feature offered a network of LEDs embedded in the lid enabling custom animations and messages. For 2022, the lid is now covered with 14,969 precision CNC milled holes and 1,449 mini LEDs on models with the now-iconic AniMe Matrix display. With more LEDs than last year’s model, new animations to customize the look of the machine are possible. The Zephyrus G14 is available in Eclipse Grey or Moonlight White, featuring a Prismatic Logo nameplate with a holographic, reflective hue.

This year’s ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402) also brings a collection of mini-games to the desktop, encouraging gamers to explore the full possibilities of the machine. Complete with a robust progression tracker and tons of achievements, OMNI makes a return as a virtual companion and can be enhanced with rare animations and actions over time. OMNI’s brash attitude makes him the perfect foil for a virtual companion, with plenty of unique lines and animations to be discovered. The mini-games also have some hidden AniMe Matrix patterns to unlock, encouraging users to spend more time customizing their devices. Additionally, extra animations can be downloaded directly via Armoury Crate on existing AniMe Matrix capable machines.
