Samsung introduces the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo with advanced efficiency and convenience

Samsung launches the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, a washer-dryer that combines AI technology and Heatpump Technology for smarter, more efficient laundry.

Samsung Electronics Singapore has launched its new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, a pioneering all-in-one washer and dryer that combines cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional efficiency and convenience for homeowners. This marks Samsung’s first foray into combining a washer and dryer using Heatpump Technology, which replaces traditional condensing methods for laundry drying. The technology enables clothes to dry at low temperatures, reducing fabric shrinkage while also saving time and energy. The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is packed with various AI-driven features, making it Samsung’s most intelligent and environmentally conscious laundry appliance to date.

Revolutionising laundry with Heatpump Technology

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is designed to simplify the laundry process by integrating a washer and dryer in a single unit. With a large drum capacity capable of washing up to 25kg and drying up to 15kg of clothes in one go, it eliminates the need to transfer wet clothes from the washer to a separate dryer. This all-in-one solution is particularly convenient for households with large laundry loads.

One of the standout features of this appliance is its use of Heatpump Technology, which dries clothes at low temperatures. This method prevents fabric shrinkage and enhances energy efficiency by improving the internal air circulation during the drying process. Equipped with a large heat exchanger, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo can reduce drying times by up to 60% and energy usage by up to 75%, making it a highly efficient choice for modern households.

AI-powered features for smarter laundry

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is equipped with AI Home, a 7-inch LCD display that acts as an intuitive control centre. This interface allows users to manage their laundry cycles effortlessly, with personalised recommendations based on previous usage patterns. AI Home can also provide energy and water consumption reports through the SmartThings app, helping homeowners monitor their appliance’s efficiency.

In addition, the appliance features AI Wash and AI Dry, which use sensors to automatically adjust washing and drying settings based on the load’s weight, fabric type, and soiling level. This ensures that each cycle is optimised for both thoroughness and efficiency. AI Wash determines the right amount of water and detergent needed for each load, while AI Dry adjusts the drying process according to the moisture content in the clothes. These smart features save time and energy, making laundry day less of a chore.

For those in a hurry, the Super Speed cycle allows users to complete a wash and dry cycle in just 98 minutes. The washing process takes 28 minutes, while drying is completed in 70 minutes, providing significant time savings for busy households.

Custom care for different fabrics

Samsung’s Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is designed to cater to various fabric types, ensuring that each item is treated with care. The AI Ecobubble technology dissolves detergent into a rich foam that penetrates fabrics for a deeper clean, while the Flex Auto Dispense System automatically adjusts the amount of detergent and softener for each load. This system includes two containers for detergent and softener, offering homeowners the flexibility to customise their laundry process.

Moreover, the Less Microfiber Cycle mode is an eco-friendly feature that reduces the shedding of microfibres from synthetic fabrics, thereby helping to minimise pollution. This feature, developed in collaboration with Ocean Wise Plastics Labs and Patagonia, reflects Samsung’s commitment to reducing microplastic pollution in waterways.

The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo also boasts long-term durability, featuring Digital Inverter Technology, which uses strong magnets for a quiet and powerful performance while enhancing energy efficiency. Samsung offers a 20-year warranty on the motor, underscoring its commitment to quality and longevity.

For tech-savvy homeowners, the SmartThings integration allows for seamless control and monitoring of the appliance. SmartThings Energy enables users to track their energy consumption in real-time, receive monthly reports, and set energy-saving targets. Additionally, the Home Care feature notifies users of maintenance needs, ensuring that the appliance remains in top condition.
