One Reddit user, Financial_Specific24, reportedly used points earned through the Xbox Mastercard to cover the purchase. The card awards points for eligible spending, with Microsoft’s own services and selected everyday purchases offering opportunities to build up a balance. Microsoft Store purchases, streaming subscriptions and food delivery are among the spending categories that can generate points.
