Veeam launches new data cloud platform for managed service providers

Veeam launches Data Cloud for MSPs, a new SaaS platform that simplifies data resilience, strengthens security, and helps providers scale services.

Veeam Software has announced the launch of Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), expanding its cloud and service provider programme with a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform designed to simplify data resilience and protection for customers across different environments.

Streamlined operations and enhanced data resilience

Veeam Data Cloud aims to help MSPs deliver future-ready data protection and resilience through an easy-to-manage platform that integrates backup, security, and automation into a single interface. The platform supports Microsoft 365 and Entra ID workloads and connects seamlessly to Veeam Vault, enabling providers to manage backup, deployment, and protection more efficiently.

The service offers a unified interface for managing multi-tenant, multi-workload environments, reducing complexity and eliminating operational silos. It also allows service providers to scale rapidly, deploying backup and recovery for new workloads without infrastructure challenges. Built-in, policy-driven protection, embedded threat intelligence, and continuous SaaS reliability help strengthen security, while real-time dashboards and threat analytics provide actionable insights for proactive operations.

“Partners are at the core of everything we do at Veeam, because we achieve more together,” said John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer at Veeam. “With Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs, partners can now easily deliver industry-leading data resilience and exceptional customer experiences through a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform. By streamlining deployment, backup management, and leveraging actionable insights and multi-layered security, our partners can reduce operational overhead, scale services, and drive sustainable, profitable growth – backed by Veeam’s proven leadership, innovation and dedication to their success.”

Driving growth and expanding service capabilities

Available globally through the Veeam Rental Program, the new offering enables MSPs to grow their businesses by launching new services quickly, reducing operational costs, and entering new markets. Support for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Veeam Vault cloud storage is already available, with additional support for Azure and Salesforce workloads, as well as bundled offerings for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, expected later this year.

Early adopters of Veeam Data Cloud have reported strong results. “Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 has empowered us to unlock new opportunities and accelerated our growth. We’re excited for the expanded Veeam Data Cloud solutions for VCSP partners, and the continued innovation Veeam promises to deliver,” said Manoj Kumar, Senior Manager at Sphinx Worldbiz Ltd.

Wilson Lam, CEO at Aegis Cloud, added: “The latest Veeam Data Cloud SaaS release will empower us with built-in security and streamlined operations, driving proactive backup management, reducing footprint, and elevating our service delivery.”

New console enhances management and security

Alongside the new data cloud offering, Veeam has introduced Veeam Service Provider Console v9, an enhanced platform for service providers building solutions on top of Veeam’s software. The updated console provides full support for the latest Veeam Data Platform features, offering secure, compliant, and flexible management capabilities accessible through a unified interface.

Console v9 includes expanded support for the new Veeam Software Appliance and deeper integration with Veeam ONE, as well as new usability improvements and AI-driven insights. These enhancements enable service providers to manage diverse environments more effectively, deliver greater value to customers, and maintain high standards of security and compliance.

“Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 strategically simplified managed backup needs for our business and our clients. The upcoming unified UI and expanded support for additional workloads will make the next release of Veeam Data Cloud an especially attractive solution for us,” said Peter Swarowski, Chief Information Officer at Intelligent Technology Solutions.

With Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs and the new Service Provider Console v9, the company aims to give partners the tools to simplify operations, scale services, and strengthen data resilience offerings. This reinforces Veeam’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions and support to the service provider community.
