Fresh details about Microsoft’s next premium Xbox controller have emerged after Brazil’s telecommunications regulator appeared to publish images and specifications of the unannounced Xbox Elite Controller 3.

The leak was first reported by Brazilian technology outlet Tecnoblog, which shared images allegedly taken from documents filed with Anatel, Brazil’s national telecommunications agency.

The images suggest that Microsoft is preparing a substantial redesign of its high-end Xbox controller line, introducing several new hardware features while updating parts of the design that have remained largely unchanged since the previous model launched in 2019.

The apparent leak comes during a busy day for Xbox-related rumours in Brazil. According to leaked materials, the Xbox Elite Controller 3 may feature a pair of scroll wheels on its underside. The wheels appear to be designed for thumb control, though the feature’s exact purpose has not yet been confirmed.
