Canon Singapore launches imageFORCE C5100 series to drive AI adoption in businesses

Canon Singapore launches the AI-powered imageFORCE C5100 series, helping businesses boost productivity and sustainability.

Canon Singapore has introduced the new imageFORCE C5100 series at its Think Big Singapore event, themed ‘Sailing Through a Sea of Uncertainty: Building a Resilience-Ready Toolkit to Thrive in an Unpredictable Future’. The launch reflects Canon’s push to help businesses accelerate digital transformation and improve productivity through AI-enabled office solutions.

Despite government encouragement for AI adoption, only 4.2% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore have successfully implemented AI technologies, even though 82% have embraced basic digital tools. Canon’s imageFORCE C5100 series is designed to bridge this gap, making AI integration more accessible for businesses of all sizes.

Empowering the future of work

In his National Day Rally address, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong described AI as “the defining technology of all time”. Canon’s latest launch aligns with this vision by offering a next-generation office platform powered by machine learning, designed to strengthen reliability, connectivity, security, and sustainability.

The imageFORCE C5100 features AI-powered maintenance that monitors performance, predicts component lifespan, and reduces downtime. It also provides seamless connectivity with direct access to cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint, and Dropbox, along with mobile printing through the Canon PRINT app. Enhanced security features, including environment estimation powered by machine learning, help optimise device settings and protect user data.

Building sustainability into innovation

Sustainability is a key focus of the new series. The imageFORCE C5100 incorporates recycled materials, including drum cases made from regrind material and a body containing 30% recycled plastic. A built-in dashboard highlights environmental performance, encouraging businesses to operate more responsibly.

Andrew Koh, Senior Vice President and Head of Singapore Operations Group at Canon Singapore, said, “Today’s business environment is more competitive than ever, and businesses need smarter ways to drive efficiency and innovation. Canon’s new imageFORCE series delivers exceptional print quality alongside AI-powered capabilities that contribute to enhanced security and seamless connectivity within an eco-friendly design. This reflects Canon’s commitment to providing powerful, reliable solutions that help customers to boost productivity and achieve sustainable growth in today’s AI era.”

Available now in Singapore

The imageFORCE C5100 series is available to customers in Singapore through Canon and its authorised partners. Visitors to Think Big Singapore can explore the new series and other Canon technologies at the event’s showcase, which features demonstrations of AI-driven solutions designed to help organisations adapt to evolving business needs.
