Lenovo unveils agentic AI to power the next generation of AI-enabled workforces

Lenovo expands its AI-Enabled Workforce with new agentic AI capabilities to boost productivity, security, and measurable ROI.

Lenovo has announced a major expansion of its AI-Enabled Workforce portfolio with the launch of new agentic AI capabilities designed to help enterprises convert their AI investments into measurable business outcomes. The update integrates agentic AI across Lenovo’s AI PCs, Services, and TruScale Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings to enhance productivity, automation, and data protection for enterprise users.

According to IDC, generative AI already delivers nearly four dollars in return for every dollar invested, and agentic AI is projected to double workforce productivity globally by 2027. Lenovo’s latest innovations aim to help organisations move from pilot projects to full-scale implementation, embedding intelligent automation into daily workflows.

Driving measurable business value

Lenovo’s agentic AI enables digital agents to operate independently or alongside employees, managing workflows, automating tasks, and supporting decision-making within trusted security frameworks. These solutions are backed by Lenovo’s AI infrastructure and an extensive library of enterprise-ready agents designed to eliminate routine work and improve operational efficiency.

“Agentic AI is redefining how work gets done. By integrating it into our AI-Enabled Workforce solutions, we’re helping organisations move from AI projections to impact, driving real productivity gains, stronger security, and measurable ROI outcomes across Asia Pacific,” said Fan Ho, Executive Director and General Manager, Asia Pacific Solutions and Services Group, Lenovo.

Unlike providers offering standalone AI solutions, Lenovo unites devices, infrastructure, lifecycle services, and security within one integrated portfolio. This holistic approach allows businesses to realise value faster with practical, sustainable solutions trusted by global enterprises.

Personalised, simplified, and sustainable technology

The Lenovo AI-Enabled Workforce portfolio is built around three pillars that focus on personalisation, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Through its agentic AI capabilities and Care of One platform, Lenovo personalises technology support to each employee, reducing support tickets by up to 30 percent while improving satisfaction. Its AI PCs, including the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X9, feature dedicated AI processors and ThinkShield protection to enhance performance and security.

Customers such as Scyne and Staples Technology Solutions have already reported tangible benefits. Scyne deployed 1,100 devices in just three months with up to ten times better performance, while Staples saved US$40,000 during its first IT refresh phase.

Lenovo’s TruScale DaaS extends these benefits through a flexible subscription model that helps businesses modernise IT operations efficiently and sustainably. The solution combines devices, services, and lifecycle management into a predictable contract, reducing per-seat costs by up to 57 percent. It also includes new features such as the Carbon Impact Portal and zero-trust protection via ThinkShield.

Building resilience and security

Security remains central to Lenovo’s AI-Enabled Workforce vision. Lenovo’s ThinkShield architecture offers hardware-level safeguards, firmware integrity checks, and AI-powered endpoint protection to defend sensitive data and minimise risks from emerging cyber threats.

According to Lenovo’s Work Reborn Series report, more than 60 percent of IT leaders believe AI agents introduce new security challenges they are not yet prepared to handle, and 90 percent admit they lack full confidence in countering AI-driven attacks. Lenovo’s end-to-end security approach, backed by its top-ten ranking in Gartner’s 2025 global supply chain for authenticity and reliability, aims to close this gap.

Meta’s security team endorsed this approach, stating, “ThinkShield Supply Chain Assurance significantly boosts trust in the authenticity and integrity of our hardware.”

Turning AI potential into performance

To simplify adoption, Lenovo provides a complete lifecycle of AI Services, from AI Discover workshops and strategy alignment through AI Fast Start programmes that deliver ROI in as little as 90 days. Its AI Deploy & Manage service ensures ongoing optimisation and governance, helping enterprises scale AI responsibly.

“Every employee benefits from devices that learn and adapt to how they work,” said Tom Butler, Vice President, Commercial Portfolio and Product Management, Intelligent Devices Group, Lenovo. “By embedding AI at the silicon and system level, Lenovo AI PCs redefine the experience – faster, safer, and more intuitive – while connecting seamlessly with our agentic AI and lifecycle services to drive enterprise productivity at scale.”

John Stamer, Vice President and General Manager of Global Product Services and Sustainability Services, Lenovo, added, “At Lenovo, we see services as the bridge between the promise of AI and real customer outcomes. That’s why we’ve built solutions that simplify deployment, improve operational efficiencies, and give every employee the right tools and support to succeed.”

Lenovo’s solutions are already producing results across industries. ST Logistics, for example, automated its warehouse operations using Lenovo’s AI-powered systems while advancing its sustainability goals. “By collaborating with Lenovo, we gained access to cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that complement ST Logistics’ vision for smarter, sustainable logistics,” said Hamarian Mohamad, General Manager, Homeland Security, ST Logistics.

IDC expects at least 40 percent of the Global 2000 enterprises to adopt agentic AI by 2027, reshaping how organisations operate. Lenovo’s AI-Enabled Workforce portfolio positions the company as a trusted end-to-end AI partner, offering devices, services, and infrastructure that turn AI potential into measurable performance.
