Lenovo Yoga 9n leak points to first RTX Spark-powered convertible laptop
Leaked images suggest Lenovo's Yoga 9n could become the first convertible laptop powered by NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform.
Lenovo could be preparing to launch the world’s first convertible laptop powered by NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform, according to newly leaked images. The images indicate that the company is developing the Yoga 9n 2-in-1, a premium convertible that replaces Intel processors with NVIDIA’s new Arm-based RTX Spark (N1X) system-on-chip.

The leaked material, first reported by Windows Latest, suggests the upcoming device closely follows the design of Lenovo’s existing Yoga 9i while introducing a new AI-focused hardware platform. Although neither Lenovo nor NVIDIA has officially confirmed the product, the leak provides an early look at what could become one of the first Windows on Arm premium convertibles powered by NVIDIA’s latest technology.
Convertible design remains familiar with premium features
The leaked images indicate that Lenovo has retained the signature design language of its Yoga series. The Yoga 9n appears to feature the company’s distinctive 360-degree rotating soundbar hinge, allowing users to switch between laptop, tablet, tent and stand modes with ease.
The device is also expected to feature a premium aluminium chassis finished in Lenovo’s Cosmic Blue. Other reported features include a nearly edge-to-edge 2.8K PureSight Pro OLED display, an infrared webcam with a physical privacy shutter for Windows Hello authentication, and compatibility with the Yoga Pen Gen 2 stylus for writing and drawing.
Connectivity also appears to be a strong focus. Based on the leaked images, the Yoga 9n is expected to offer HDMI, USB-A, several USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This combination provides a wider range of ports than many premium ultraportable laptops currently available, reducing the need for external adapters.
The report also claims Lenovo is developing a second model, the Yoga Pro 9n, alongside the convertible. Unlike the Yoga 9n, this version is expected to adopt a traditional clamshell design with a 15-inch display. Additional reported features include a large haptic touchpad that can double as a drawing surface, a magnetic stylus holder built into the lid, and a six-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system designed to appeal to creative professionals.
RTX Spark introduces a new approach to Windows laptops
The key difference between RTX Spark and conventional Windows laptop platforms lies in their integrated architecture. Instead of combining a separate central processing unit and graphics processor, NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform merges both components into a single Arm-based system-on-chip.
According to NVIDIA, the platform combines a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell GPU. The company says the chip includes 6,144 CUDA cores, supports up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory and can deliver up to one petaflop of AI computing performance.
The platform is also designed to bring several established NVIDIA technologies to Windows on Arm devices. These include CUDA for accelerated computing, DLSS for AI-enhanced graphics, RTX ray tracing, TensorRT for AI inference, Reflex for lower-latency gaming and G-SYNC display technology. Together, these features aim to expand the capabilities of Arm-powered Windows laptops beyond traditional productivity tasks.
The move also reflects the growing industry focus on AI-powered personal computers. Hardware manufacturers are increasingly integrating dedicated AI processing capabilities into laptops to improve on-device workloads, ranging from content creation and software development to image processing and generative AI applications.
Launch details remain unconfirmed
At present, Lenovo has not officially announced the Yoga 9n or the Yoga Pro 9n. As a result, important details such as pricing, regional availability and final hardware specifications remain unknown.
The leaked information nevertheless suggests Lenovo intends to introduce a complete premium laptop range built around NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform. While the Yoga Pro 9n appears to target creators seeking a traditional notebook experience, the Yoga 9n could appeal to users who value the flexibility of a convertible design without sacrificing high-end performance.
Windows Latest also reports that Lenovo is aiming to deliver all-day battery life despite the powerful hardware. If achieved, this could help distinguish RTX Spark laptops from many existing high-performance Windows devices that often prioritise performance over endurance.
RTX Spark-powered laptops are expected to arrive later this year, although no official release date has been confirmed. Until Lenovo and NVIDIA formally unveil the products, the leaked images provide only an early indication of the company’s plans. However, they suggest that NVIDIA’s new Arm-based AI platform may soon expand beyond conventional creator notebooks into the premium convertible laptop market, potentially marking the beginning of a new category of AI-focused Windows devices.
