Meta has introduced Meta One across global markets, bringing subscription options across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI together into a single structured portfolio. The new offering is designed to serve individuals, creators and commercial organisations seeking expanded digital capabilities. Across the suite, the service debuts with more than 50 distinct features that span increased artificial intelligence usage, profile personalisation and dedicated professional account tools.

The paid rollout arrives as Meta records 15 million subscriptions and trials across its various platform offerings to date. Despite the introduction of these enhanced tiers, the company confirmed that foundational experiences across all four applications and Meta AI will remain free for everyone.

Individual plans add more AI and app features

For individual users, Meta One comprises standalone subscriptions alongside bundled packages that link several applications with elevated access to selected AI tools. This lineup includes Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus, giving members the freedom to upgrade a single application or combine benefits across multiple platforms through the Core and Premium tiers.

Both Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus are priced at US$3.99 a month. On Instagram, subscribers gain custom fonts for direct messages and Stories, notifications when chosen accounts view a Story, and direct message previews. Facebook Plus adds Messenger customisation, deeper Reels insights, and expanded super reactions across Reels and Feed posts. WhatsApp Plus enters at a lower rate of US$2.99 a month, providing visual themes, custom icons, special-effect stickers, and the ability to pin additional chats. Looking further ahead, Meta plans to test dedicated storage for chat and media backups on WhatsApp, alongside Focus Schedules designed to mute or hide conversations during scheduled times.

Users seeking broader integration can opt for the Core bundle at US$7.99 a month, which combines the three single-product plans while unlocking greater access to Meta AI image and video generation and in-app tools such as Restyle and voice effects on Instagram. At the higher tier, the Premium bundle costs US$19.99 a month, providing all Core features alongside the highest usage allowances for Meta AI and creative tools across Meta’s applications. Meta highlighted that more than half of subscribers in early testing actively utilised both AI tools and expression features within these bundled options.

Everyday Meta AI features will remain entirely free to use without requiring an active subscription. The paid bundles are specifically designed to supply extra capacity for the company’s more computing-intensive AI capabilities.

Creator and business plans add publishing and customer tools

Meta One also extends into commercial operations with specialised tiers for creators and businesses managing professional accounts, publishing content and overseeing customer interactions across Meta’s network. Subscribing profiles can showcase external websites, physical locations and testimonials detailing what customers say about the creator or enterprise. To support audience growth, subscribers receive a more prominent follow button on Reels and can automatically invite users who engage with their material to follow their account.

Professional subscriptions begin with the Essential plan at US$14.99 a month, which includes expanded access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp, a verified badge, a verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app, and impersonation protection subject to successful verification. Stepping up to the Advanced plan at US$49.99 a month adds Story scheduling up to 30 days in advance, exportable analytics, deeper audience insights, and clickable links in organic posts and Reels. Advanced subscribers can also assign account access to team members without sharing passwords, while receiving WhatsApp enhancements such as additional linked devices, business broadcast credits, and expanded response quotas for Meta Business Agent.

Larger commercial organisations can select the Expert plan at US$149 a month or the Max tier at US$499 monthly. These packages provide Meta One’s highest feature limits and maximum Meta Business Agent capacity for teams overseeing large-scale operations.

Looking ahead, Meta plans to incorporate Edits Plus into the subscription portfolio to assist digital creators with video workflows. This upcoming tier will deliver additional cloud storage for syncing projects across multiple devices, alongside expanded usage of the Edits assistant, an AI utility intended to analyse Instagram insights and help users develop fresh content ideas. Over time, the company also intends to expand Meta One into AI glasses and other hardware products.
