OPPO has introduced two new smartphones in Singapore, the Reno13 F 5G and the A5 Pro 5G, both designed with a focus on performance, durability, and style.
The Reno13 F 5G continues the sleek design of the Reno13 series, available in Plume Purple and Graphite Grey. It features AI-powered imaging capabilities, including AI Livephoto and AI Clarity Enhancer, which deliver sharp and dynamic photos. Built for durability, it boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance, ensuring protection in various conditions. Additionally, it has a 5,800mAh battery designed to last over four years, along with an AI Multi-Cooling System and AI HyperBoost technology for smooth performance.
Meanwhile, the OPPO A5 Pro 5G is built for super durability, featuring military-grade shock resistance alongside IP69 water and dust resistance. Designed for outdoor adventures, gaming, and entertainment, it includes AI LinkBoost 2.0 for reliable connectivity, AI GameBoost for optimised gaming, and a 5,800mAh battery with Flash Charge. Despite its durability, it maintains a slim and lightweight profile at 7.76mm thickness and 194g weight, available in Mocha Brown and Bloom Pink.
Advanced AI features in the Reno13 F 5G
The Reno13 F 5G brings flagship-level AI photography and productivity tools to a wider audience. Its AI Livephoto feature stabilises hand movements for fluid motion capture, while an advanced AI editing suite includes AI Editor for improved post-processing, Reflection Remover to eliminate unwanted reflections, AI Unblur to enhance image sharpness, AI Clarity Enhancer for better resolution, and AI Eraser 2.0 to remove unwanted objects.
Additionally, AI Studio allows users to turn static images into 3-second videos and create group portraits with artistic effects.
For productivity, the Reno13 F 5G includes an AI-powered Documents app for text summarisation and editing. The AI Assistant for Notes helps with formatting and content enhancement, while the AI Toolbox 2.0 supports multiple languages and offers real-time translation, summarisation, and copywriting assistance.
Imaging power and rugged durability
The Reno13 F 5G is equipped with a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP monochrome camera, alongside a 32MP front camera. The Soft Light Portrait feature enhances lighting for a cinematic effect, while Master Filters add a nostalgic touch, mimicking classic film cameras.
For outdoor and underwater photography, the Reno13 F 5G features IP69 waterproofing, allowing it to be submerged up to 2 metres for 30 minutes without damage. A dedicated underwater mode ensures vibrant and distortion-free images, even in submerged conditions.
Meanwhile, the OPPO A5 Pro 5G brings top-tier durability with military-grade shock resistance, tested through 14 environmental tests, including high and low-temperature endurance and impact resistance. It also features Splash Touch technology, enabling smooth touchscreen functionality even when wet.
Gaming, entertainment, and connectivity
The Reno13 F 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, ensuring a seamless gaming and entertainment experience. It includes AI HyperBoost for optimised gaming on titles like Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile, TÃœV SÃœD Lag-Free Mobile Gaming Certification for stable performance, a 120Hz Smart Adaptive Display with low-blue-light protection, and 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge for quick recharging.
For an immersive audio experience, dual stereo speakers deliver 3D surround sound, while Ultra Volume Mode boosts sound output by up to 300% for clarity in noisy environments.
To maintain strong connectivity, the AI LinkBoost 2.0 system uses 360° antennas to enhance signal strength. Dual-channel Wi-Fi and Bluetooth acceleration improve lag reduction, while Wi-Fi Positioning guides users to the strongest available connection.
The OPPO A5 Pro 5G also integrates AI LinkBoost 2.0 for enhanced network performance, with BeaconLink technology providing Bluetooth voice calls over distances of up to 205 metres, even in areas with no mobile signal. It also includes an Outdoor Mode, which prioritises work-related apps and extends screen timeout for better usability in professional settings.
Pricing and availability
The OPPO Reno13 F 5G (12GB + 256GB) will be available in Plume Purple and Graphite Grey from 13 March 2025, at S$549 (usual price S$599), with a free pair of earbuds for non-carrier purchases.
The OPPO A5 Pro 5G (6GB + 128GB) will launch in Bloom Pink and Mocha Brown on 22 March 2025, at S$279.
Customers who purchase the Reno13 Pro, Reno13, Reno13 F, or A5 Pro at offline OPPO stores can register for MyOPPO and redeem an MLBB skin Silver or Regular Card using points. Online buyers can log into MyOPPO after purchase and collect their MLBB skin card at OPPO stores.
