Samsung launches The Movingstyle portable touchscreen display in Singapore
Samsung launches The Movingstyle, a 27-inch portable touchscreen display, in Singapore from 15 February 2026 at S$1,699.
Samsung Electronics Singapore has announced the launch of The Movingstyle, a portable 27-inch touchscreen display designed to bring flexible viewing and interactive experiences into different parts of the home. The device will be available for pre-order in Singapore from 15 February 2026, ahead of general availability from late March 2026.
Table Of Content
The company positions The Movingstyle as a response to changing viewing habits, as more consumers look for screens that can move easily between rooms and adapt to different uses. The display is built to support both entertainment and productivity, combining portability with features typically associated with monitors and televisions.
Patrick Khor, Head of TV, AV and Monitor at Samsung Electronics Singapore, said, “A screen in every room becomes an integral part of modern life, as Singaporeans are increasingly looking for flexibility in how and where they view their content. The Movingstyle is a game-changer, bringing cinematic visuals and adaptability to places traditional screens can’t reach. It combines the mobility of a tablet, the precision of a monitor and the immersive quality of a TV. And with its intuitive touch interface, The Movingstyle sets a new standard for portable displays in Singapore.”
Designed for mobility and flexible use
The Movingstyle is built around a fully portable 27-inch touchscreen that can be configured in different ways. Users can detach the display from its stand and use it like a tablet, supported by an integrated kickstand that allows it to rest on flat surfaces. The kickstand also functions as a handle, making it easier to carry the screen around the home.
Alternatively, the display can be mounted on a rollable floor stand with concealed wheels. This allows it to move between rooms and switch between portrait and landscape orientations. The design aims to make it simple to transform a living room, bedroom or even a balcony into a temporary entertainment or work area.
The device includes a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to three hours of use without a power connection. This enables users to watch content or complete tasks away from a fixed socket, including in outdoor settings.
Control options extend beyond the supplied remote. Users can activate voice control with Bixby or issue gesture commands using a Galaxy Watch. The touchscreen interface also supports direct interaction, reducing reliance on external input devices.
Enhanced visuals, sound and creative tools
The Movingstyle supports HDR10+ for high dynamic range visuals and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio. These features are designed to deliver a more cinematic experience for streaming and video playback. For gaming, Motion Xcelerator 120Hz is included to support smoother performance in fast-paced titles.
Samsung Vision AI is integrated into the display, pairing AI-enhanced picture and sound with personalised content experiences. The company says this allows the screen to adapt to viewing habits and optimise output accordingly.
The built-in touchscreen also introduces creative features. Sketch Now allows users to draw or write directly on the screen when brainstorming ideas, making it possible to move from room to room while continuing work. The feature also supports collaboration across different devices.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, phone mirroring, USB-C and HDMI. Galaxy mobile users can stream content to the display using Storage Share, extending content from smaller screens to the larger panel without complex setup.
Powered by One UI Tizen, The Movingstyle supports multiple user profiles within a household. Each profile can receive curated recommendations tailored to individual preferences. Users can access Samsung TV Plus for free live television and on-demand content without an additional subscription.
Additional software features include Now Brief, an AI-powered tool that provides personalised daily briefings. Users can customise widgets for weather, memos, music and tips. Generative Wallpaper allows users to create AI-powered backgrounds, while Click to Search provides instant information and recommendations related to on-screen content.
The display can also function as a digital art frame. Through the subscription-based Samsung Art Store, users can access more than 4,000 artworks from institutions and artists including The Met, MoMA and Keith Haring.
Security is managed through Samsung Knox, which protects sensitive information such as passwords, monitors connected IoT devices and blocks malicious applications and sites. Samsung also states that The Movingstyle will receive up to seven years of operating system updates.
Availability and pricing in Singapore
The Movingstyle will be available for pre-order in Singapore from 15 February 2026 through the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App and Samsung Official Stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok. General retail availability is scheduled for late March 2026.
From 15 February 2026 to 14 March 2026, consumers who pre-order the device will receive S$200 off the recommended retail price. The Movingstyle is priced at S$1,699 in Singapore.
The product joins Samsung’s existing portable screen portfolio, which includes the Movingstyle M7 Smart Monitor, as the company expands its range of adaptable displays for home use.
