Xiaomi 17T Series brings Leica 5x telephoto cameras to both models in Singapore

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17T Series in Singapore, introducing the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro with different screen sizes, larger batteries, and a Leica 5x telephoto camera across both models.

The new T Series line is positioned around mobile imaging, with both phones carrying a triple rear camera system led by a 50MP main camera. Xiaomi 17T Pro uses a larger 1/1.31-inch sensor, while Xiaomi 17T uses a 1/1.55-inch sensor. Both models combine Leica UltraPure optical design with a Leica Summilux lens structure.

Leica telephoto reaches both models

The clearest change in the Xiaomi 17T Series is the addition of a Leica 5x telephoto camera across the lineup. The camera captures 50MP images, includes OIS, supports 30cm macro photography, and offers 10x optical-grade zoom with up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom.

Xiaomi is also adding Leica Live Moment, a feature designed to capture movement and expression around a still image. It works across all rear camera focal lengths and supports new Leica watermarks. Users can also combine multiple moments into shareable collages.

Leica Live Portrait extends the feature into Portrait mode with a bokeh effect. On Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi is adding live cinematography features, including Ultra-HD Live Moment in 4K and zoom effects through Freestyle or Portrait Live cinematography. The Pro model also introduces 4K 60fps cinematic recording for Xiaomi Series smartphones.

Larger batteries and eye-care displays

Both models use 1.5K AMOLED displays with 3500-nit peak brightness. Xiaomi 17T Pro has a 6.83-inch display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, while Xiaomi 17T has a 6.59-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

The series also debuts Xiaomi Vision Care, which adjusts the display based on ambient light and manages blue light, flicker, and motion blur. Xiaomi said the 17T Series is the first to receive TÜV Rheinland quadruple eye-care certification and Xiaomi’s first TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification.

Xiaomi 17T Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, built on a 3nm process, while Xiaomi 17T runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra on a 4nm architecture. Both models include Xiaomi 3D IceLoop System for thermal management, LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, Xiaomi HyperOS, Xiaomi HyperAI, Circle to Search with Google, and Google Gemini.

Battery capacity is also higher across the range. Xiaomi 17T Pro has a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge. Xiaomi said this is the largest battery on a Xiaomi Series smartphone in international markets as of May 2026. Xiaomi 17T has a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 67W HyperCharge.

Singapore pricing and availability

The Xiaomi 17T Series is available through mi.com, Xiaomi’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada, and Xiaomi Stores. Xiaomi 17T Pro comes in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black. Xiaomi 17T comes in Violet, Opal White, and Black.

Xiaomi 17T starts at S$799 for the 12GB+256GB variant and S$949 for the 12GB+512GB variant. The 512GB model is available only through mi.com and Xiaomi Stores. Xiaomi 17T Pro starts at S$999 for the 12GB+256GB online-exclusive variant, while the 12GB+512GB model is priced at S$1,149. The online-exclusive model is available through mi.com, Shopee, and Lazada only.

Pre-orders run from 28 May, 10:00 PM SGT, to 4 June. Customers who pre-order will receive gifts and benefits worth up to S$690, including a REDMI Pad 2 9.7 4GB+64GB worth S$209, while stocks last.

Open sales promotions run from 5 June to 30 June. Customers will receive gifts and benefits worth up to S$550, including REDMI Headphones Neo worth S$65.90, while stocks last. M1 is listed as an additional platform for selected open sales variants.

Buyers in Singapore will also receive a 3-month trial of Google AI Pro with 5TB of cloud storage, a 3-month trial of YouTube Premium, a 4-month trial of Spotify Premium, 2-year quality assurance, and one free screen replacement within six months.
