AFA Creators Super Fest returns to Singapore with art, music and cosplay showcases

AFA Creators Super Fest Singapore 2025 returns with art showcases, music acts, cosplay zones and over 300 creators on 2–3 August.

AFA Creators Super Fest Singapore 2025 is set to make a vibrant return on 2 and 3 August at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organised by SOZO, the festival will bring together over 300 artists, creators and exhibitors from Singapore and around the region. Attendees can expect a diverse line-up of performances, exhibitions, workshops, and merchandise booths across three main halls.

Now in its second edition, the event offers fans of anime, cosplay, gaming and creative arts a chance to interact with their favourite creators, discover new talents, and take part in a range of engaging activities. Tickets are priced from S$20 and are available online and on-site during the event.

International artists and exclusive content

One of the highlights of the event is the tamimoon art exhibition, featuring original works by the popular Japanese illustrator. Fans will also get the chance to join meet-and-greet sessions and a live drawing showcase on the Super Akiba Stage. In addition, selected framed prints from the Featured Creators collection will be available for purchase. Notable names include Singapore’s Birkbushka, Australia’s Miyukiko and South Korea’s HJS.

The Super Akiba Stage will also host debut performances from several international acts. These include BASKETPROJECT, a J-pop and global pop group formed by Sony Music Japan, featuring Thai Gen Z vocalists Meedee, Oei and Kaofang. Indonesian musician Heiakim, best known for his viral hit “Hotto Dogu”, will also take the stage with his unique blend of humour and genre-crossing music.

Workshops and community-driven learning

Beyond performances and exhibitions, the Creators Lab will serve as a hub for learning and inspiration. The programme features a series of free seminars, panels and demonstrations for ticket holders, covering topics such as portfolio-building, cosplay techniques, character illustration, tattoo artistry, faux fur crafting, music production, and building a creative business.

Speakers include long-time Japanese translator Dan Kanemitsu, Jagua tattoo artist No-Pain Cool-Stain, top Singaporean cosplayer Xiaoyu, and pop artist duo Lorecrafters. Each will share insights from their creative journeys, offering practical advice and personal experiences to help aspiring artists and content creators grow their craft.

New zones and expanded shopping experiences

The event will also debut its new Studio Hub zone, created specifically for cosplay photographers. Attendees can book studio spaces for S$100 per slot, which includes five entry tickets (worth S$115 in total). Cosplayers with tickets will enjoy access to makeup touch-up areas, rest zones, and a free photo booth print.

On the retail front, more than 300 creator booths will offer everything from handmade art and crafts to merchandise from popular titles. Shoppers can look forward to over 120 gashapon machines, exclusive deals on SPY x FAMILY and MAPPA goods, and artist merchandise from tamimoon, Weian Vann and others.
