Cronos: The New Dawn drives major profit surge for Bloober Team

Bloober Team reports record Q3 2025 results as Cronos: The New Dawn drives a major surge in global sales and profit.

Bloober Team has reported a dramatic rise in its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, marking one of the strongest periods in the Polish studio’s history. The company released its financial report for the July to September quarter, confirming substantial growth in both profit and revenue compared to the same period last year.

Strong financial performance in the third quarter

According to the report, Bloober Team recorded a 3,118% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching 35.2 million złoty (US$9.6 million). Revenue rose sharply as well, climbing by 270% to 64.16 million złoty (US$17.5 million). The company attributed this exceptional performance largely to the success of its latest post-apocalyptic horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn.

The game was released on 5 September, only a few weeks before the quarter ended, yet it contributed significantly to the company’s financial results. Bloober Team had previously confirmed that Cronos: The New Dawn sold 200,000 digital copies within its first three days on the market. By 26 November, total sales had exceeded 500,000 copies across all platforms, firmly positioning the game as one of the studio’s strongest performers to date.

Global sales boost studio revenues

Bloober Team also provided a detailed breakdown of its quarterly revenue by region, highlighting the strong global demand for its latest release. North America generated the largest share of revenue at 56.2%. Europe, excluding Poland, accounted for 23.13% of total revenue, while Asia contributed 20.46%. The company’s home market, Poland, accounted for only 0.21% of its quarterly income.

These figures reflect the studio’s growing international presence, supported by the global appeal of Cronos: The New Dawn and the studio’s ongoing focus on psychological and narrative-driven horror games. The company noted that its strong regional distribution reflects a healthy and diverse player base, with North America and Asia in particular showing continued growth in digital game sales.

2025 set to become Bloober Team’s strongest year yet

Bloober Team announced that 2025 has already surpassed its previous financial records, even before the final quarter is factored in. Between January and September, the studio earned 109.95 million złoty (US$30.1 million), exceeding the total revenue of its previous record year, 2023. With another financial quarter still to be completed, the company expects its end-of-year results to reflect even greater success.

The studio stated that Cronos: The New Dawn’s strong performance will continue to drive revenues in the coming months, as sales momentum remains steady. The company is also preparing future updates, expansions, and additional projects to maintain its current growth rate. Bloober Team expressed confidence that the achievements of 2025 will set a new benchmark for the company’s long-term development.
