ECOVACS unveils DEEBOT X11 with PowerBoost and expands service robot portfolio at IFA 2025

Ecovacs launches DEEBOT X11 with PowerBoost and expands its service robot lineup with ULTRAMARINE at IFA 2025.

ECOVACS has introduced its latest robotic vacuum cleaner, the DEEBOT X11, at IFA 2025 in Berlin. The launch marks the debut of PowerBoost Technology, a system designed to deliver perpetual runtime and higher cleaning performance. Alongside this flagship product, the company also announced its entry into a new category with the ULTRAMARINE robotic pool cleaner.

A step forward in intelligent home cleaning

The DEEBOT X11 is positioned as the world’s first robotic vacuum cleaner to use PowerBoost Technology, enabling rapid and intelligent charging. According to ECOVACS, the system can restore 6% of battery power in just three minutes during routine mop-cleaning pauses. This allows the robot to maintain continuous coverage of up to 1,000 square metres in a single session, moving beyond the traditional limitation of battery capacity.

The model also introduces the updated OZMO ROLLER 2.0 with TruEdge 3.0 technology. Featuring a high-density nylon mop roller and 3,800Pa of mopping pressure at 200 rpm, the system is built to remove stubborn stains without leaving streaks or damaging surfaces. The extended edge reach of 1.5cm ensures improved cleaning in corners and along edges.

Another feature is the OmniCyclone Station with PureCyclone 2.0 Auto-Empty Technology. By eliminating disposable dust bags, ECOVACS estimates the design could save up to two million bags annually. This not only reduces costs for users but also supports more sustainable cleaning.

The DEEBOT X11 also introduces AGENT YIKO, a built-in home manager powered by a large language model. Unlike conventional voice assistants, it can analyse user preferences and spatial data to plan and execute cleaning tasks autonomously.

Expanding into new scenarios

At IFA, ECOVACS also unveiled ULTRAMARINE, its first robotic pool cleaner. Designed with multiple rolling brushes, strong suction, and advanced navigation systems, it addresses growing consumer demand for automated pool maintenance. The launch expands the company’s portfolio into outdoor cleaning solutions.

ECOVACS highlighted its growing influence in the sector, with its DEEBOT series holding the top market share in China’s robotic vacuum cleaner market for 10 consecutive years. The company has also partnered with BSH to co-develop the first built-in vacuum and mopping robot, aiming to set new standards in household cleaning.

The wider product line was also showcased at IFA. This included the WINBOT robotic window cleaner, which achieved over US$100 million in sales in 2024, and the GOAT robotic lawn mower, which recorded overseas sales growth of more than 270% year-on-year. Both product families have been upgraded with improved navigation and safety certifications, including TÜV Rheinland’s EN 18031 RED-DA standard for wireless equipment.

Investing in innovation

ECOVACS said it remains committed to research and development, investing around US$123 million in 2024, a 7.3% increase from the previous year. In July 2025, the company also announced a US$27.8 million investment in a local manufacturing facility for robot components and bodies. This move, it said, is part of its effort to strengthen its in-house technology stack across batteries, motors, cleaning systems, and artificial intelligence.

David Cheng Qian, Vice Chairman of ECOVACS Group and CEO of ECOVACS Robotics, said: “Driven by our mission of ‘Robotics for All,’ we continue to launch technologies and products that genuinely improve people’s lives. From DEEBOT to a wider range of home scenarios, every innovation is grounded in real consumer needs. We believe that future smart homes should deliver proactive services, with ‘invisible’ technology.”

ECOVACS’ full range, including the DEEBOT X11, ULTRAMARINE, WINBOT and GOAT, is on display at IFA 2025 in Berlin from 5 to 9 September.
