FPT and Sitecore launch ON.E, an AI-powered e-commerce accelerator

FPT and Sitecore launch ON.E, an AI-powered e-commerce accelerator aimed at transforming digital commerce for retailers globally.

FPT, a global IT corporation, has partnered with Sitecore, a leader in digital experience platforms, to launch an innovative e-commerce solution named ON.E. This AI-powered platform aims to transform digital commerce by helping retailers accelerate their time-to-market, improve development efficiency, and offer a tailored solution for businesses worldwide. The announcement was made during the FPT Techday 2024, a key event in the technology sector.

An advanced solution for digital commerce

ON.E is built using Sitecore’s OrderCloud APIs, providing a flexible and scalable headless architecture. This architecture allows businesses to offer seamless shopping experiences across various channels, including web, mobile, and in-store platforms. FPT has enhanced this foundation with a range of pre-built components that are customisable for different industries. These components help drive digital commerce success by reducing time-to-market by over 30% and cutting costs by up to 55%.

The platform also leverages AI technology to deliver smart, data-driven recommendations that optimise e-commerce strategies. ON.E uses a large language model to analyse user behaviour, generating insights from multiple data engines to suggest the most effective features for various retail sectors. This ensures digital experiences are personalised and improved, ultimately enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction.

Focus on key markets and sectors

For its first year of operation, ON.E will target key markets across the Asia-Pacific region and the United States. The platform will cater to a broad range of industries, with an initial focus on high-demand retail sectors, including electronics, beauty and personal care, and groceries – areas where FPT and Sitecore have already achieved significant success.

Pham Minh Tuan, FPT Corporation’s Executive Vice President and CEO of FPT Software, expressed his thoughts on the launch: “The rapid evolution of digital commerce and AI adoption have opened up new opportunities while also requiring innovative approaches. ON.E marks a significant leap forward in how AI can transform traditional software development, enabling retailers to launch digital storefronts with unmatched speed and efficiency. This aligns with FPT and Sitecore’s shared commitment to accelerating digital transformation and enhancing the consumer experience.”

A strong partnership with Sitecore

The partnership between FPT and Sitecore dates back to 2015, with FPT being a Sitecore Platinum Partner in the Asia-Pacific region. Over the years, FPT has continually delivered transformative digital solutions across the region, further strengthening the collaboration between the two companies.

Joey Lim, President of Sitecore Asia-Pacific, commented on the significance of the partnership: “Our partnership with FPT is critical to our ongoing success in the Asia-Pacific region, and we are thrilled to be working with them in the US market. The Sitecore OrderCloud product is a key part of our digital commerce solutions, and we believe the integration with FPT’s ecommerce platform ON.E will bring tremendous value to retailers seeking a competitive advantage.”

The FPT Techday 2024 event

The product launch took place during FPT Techday 2024, an annual technology forum hosted by FPT Corporation. Since its inception in 2013, FPT Techday has become a leading event, attracting thousands of professionals and businesses from various industries. This year, the event featured 30 distinguished speakers and gathered 2,500 global leaders, including representatives from major corporations such as Nvidia, McKinsey, Forrester, and Hitachi High Tech. The event serves as a key platform for exploring emerging technology trends and sharing insights from industry experts.
