Google Pixel Watch 5 leak reveals four colour options and possible price increase
Leaked Pixel Watch 5 renders reveal four colours, two sizes, Wear OS 7 and a possible US$399 starting price.
Leaked images have offered an early look at the Google Pixel Watch 5 ahead of Google’s expected annual Pixel launch event. The unofficial renders appear to show four colour options, two case sizes and a design that remains closely aligned with the current Pixel Watch 4.

Well-known technology leaker OnLeaks shared the images through The Tide Chart, a newly launched technology blog. Although Google has not confirmed the accuracy of the images or the information accompanying them, the renders appear similar to official promotional materials.
Google is reportedly preparing to announce the Pixel Watch 5 on 12 August, alongside its next-generation Pixel devices. The smartwatch is expected to retain the company’s familiar circular design while introducing internal upgrades and updated software.
Familiar design could support existing Pixel Watch bands
According to the leaked images, Google does not appear to be planning major visual changes for the Pixel Watch 5. The wearable retains the round watch face and curved, domed display that have become defining features of the Pixel Watch range.
The design closely resembles the Pixel Watch 4, suggesting that Google may be focusing more on internal improvements than on a significant external redesign. The company has maintained a consistent appearance across recent generations, helping its smartwatches remain recognisable within the wider Wear OS market.
Keeping a similar case design could also improve compatibility with existing accessories. Current Pixel Watch bands may continue to work with the new model, although this has not been officially confirmed. Continued compatibility would allow existing users to upgrade without replacing bands they already own.
The Pixel Watch 5 is expected to be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes. Offering two case options would allow customers to choose between a smaller watch and a larger model with more display space. The leaked materials reportedly include renders of both sizes across several finishes.
Google has not yet revealed whether changes will be made to the display brightness, screen durability or case materials. These details are likely to be announced during the company’s Pixel event if the reported launch schedule is accurate.
Four finishes appear in leaked renders
The leaked materials show four possible colour combinations for the Pixel Watch 5. These are reportedly Dark Anthracite with a black band, Natural Silver with a pale grey band, Pyrite with an olive band and Warm Gold with a coral band.
The Dark Anthracite version appears to offer a simple, understated look, while the Natural Silver model uses a lighter, more neutral colour scheme. The Pyrite finish introduces an earth-toned design through its olive band, while the Warm Gold option provides a brighter look with a coral-coloured strap.
The Warm Gold finish is shown only with the smaller 41mm model in the materials published by The Tide Chart. However, the available images do not confirm that the colour will be exclusive to the smaller size. Google may offer additional combinations when the watch is officially announced.
Colour availability may also vary by market, case size, or connectivity option. Technology companies often limit certain finishes to specific models or regions, so the full range may not become clear until Google releases official product information.
The renders remain unofficial despite their polished appearance. OnLeaks has previously published accurate images of unreleased technology products, but Google has not commented on the latest material. Details such as colour names, band combinations and availability could therefore change before launch.
Pricing could rise as Wear OS 7 prepares to launch
The Pixel Watch 5 is expected to be offered in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi with LTE versions. According to the leak, pricing could begin at US$399 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model. If accurate, this would represent a US$50 increase compared with the equivalent Pixel Watch 4 model.
Prices are expected to rise as customers select a larger case or add LTE connectivity. The most expensive model available at launch could reportedly cost US$529. The leak does not confirm whether these prices will apply globally or only in selected markets.
A higher starting price could place greater attention on the watch’s internal improvements. Google has not yet revealed information about the Pixel Watch 5 processor, battery capacity, charging performance or health-tracking features. These areas may determine whether customers view the reported price increase as justified.
Battery life is likely to remain an important consideration. Previous Pixel Watch models have competed with devices offering longer operating times, and efficiency improvements could help the new model appeal to users who want to spend less time charging their smartwatch.
The Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to launch with Wear OS 7. The updated operating system could introduce interface improvements, new software features and better integration with Google services. However, the company has not confirmed which features will be exclusive to the new watch.
Google is expected to provide full details during its reported Pixel event on 12 August. Until then, the leaked images, colour options and pricing information should be treated as unofficial.
