Sony is refreshing its wireless headphone range in Singapore with three new models spanning entry-level, mid-range and premium tiers. Leading the lineup is the WH-1000XM4C, which builds upon the foundation of the WH-1000XM4. Alongside this premium offering, the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 arrive to update Sony’s more affordable wireless options.
All three models are due to arrive in Singapore during September 2026. This staggered rollout establishes a distinct ladder across price points, moving from accessible daily listening to premium audio.

WH-1000XM4C builds on the WH-1000XM4
Based on Sony’s WH-1000XM4, the WH-1000XM4C incorporates the company’s 1000X Series noise-cancelling technology while refreshing the sound tuning. Sony has also added a 10-band equaliser to provide listeners with greater control over their audio profile. Throughout these updates, the headphones retain a lightweight, foldable over-ear format suited to storage and travel.
Sony is offering the WH-1000XM4C in Black, Platinum Silver and Lavender. The company is targeting travellers, commuters, remote workers, students and music listeners, with the onboard noise cancellation intended to reduce distractions from crowds, transport and city noise.
The WH-1000XM4C will be available in Singapore from September. It carries a suggested retail price of S$419.
WH-CH730N adds a foldable design and longer battery life
Sitting directly below the WH-1000XM4C, the WH-CH730N uses Sony’s Dual Noise Sensor technology for noise cancellation. According to Sony, the updated model introduces several notable refinements over its predecessor. These enhancements include a lighter, foldable over-ear design alongside longer battery life and improved call quality.
Battery life reaches up to 50 hours with noise cancellation switched on, while a three-minute charge provides up to one hour of playback. In addition, customisable audio settings allow listeners to adjust the sound.
To support clear calls, Sony has equipped the WH-CH730N with Precise Voice Pickup Technology. The system combines beamforming microphones, microphone placement and AI-powered noise reduction to improve voice capture in noisy environments. Connectivity options are equally comprehensive, including LE Audio, Multipoint connection, Fast Pair and Swift Pair.
The WH-CH730N will come in Black, White, Pink, Blue and Beige. It is scheduled to reach Singapore at the end of September at a suggested retail price of S$169.
WH-CH530 focuses on lightweight everyday listening
Serving as the entry-level option in the refreshed range, the WH-CH530 adopts a compact on-ear design fitted with a soft head cushion for daily comfort. According to Sony, the model achieves better battery life than its predecessor, with overall playback rated at up to 55 hours and a three-minute charge supplying up to 1.5 hours of listening.
Audio can be adjusted through customisable equaliser settings to suit personal preferences. The headphones also include AI noise reduction for calls and a five-step maximum volume control intended to help manage listening levels.
Everyday usability is supported by a comprehensive suite of wireless features. The model includes Multipoint connection, Fast Pair, Swift Pair, LE Audio compatibility and a built-in voice assistant. For personal styling, Sony will offer the WH-CH530 in Black, White, Pink, Cobalt, Coral and Mint.
The WH-CH530 is scheduled to go on sale in Singapore in the middle of September 2026. It will retail at a suggested price of S$79.
