vivo launches V60 in Singapore as part of global rollout

vivo launches the V60 in Singapore, featuring a ZEISS co-engineered 50 MP Super Telephoto Camera, durable design, and long battery life.

vivo has launched its latest V series smartphone, the V60, with Singapore chosen as the first market in its global rollout. Designed for photography enthusiasts and everyday users alike, the new V60 promises a blend of professional-level imaging, durability, and all-day performance. Developed in collaboration with ZEISS, it features a 50 MP Super Telephoto Camera alongside a range of creative and AI-driven tools aimed at making photography more accessible.

The V60’s 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera comes with a Sony IMX882 sensor and an f/2.65 aperture. Its periscope lens allows for greater optical zoom without adding bulk, while specialised modes like 10x Telephoto Stage Portrait bring subjects closer with sharp detail and natural skin tones. vivo’s ZEISS Multifocal Portrait offers five focal lengths inspired by professional photography, complemented by ZEISS Style Bokeh for cinematic depth-of-field effects.

Other cameras include a 50 MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera with improved low-light performance, an 8 MP Ultra Wide-Angle Camera for landscapes and groups, and a 50 MP Group Selfie Camera with AI Facial Contouring. Video creators benefit from 4K recording on both front and rear cameras and enhanced editing tools such as AI Erase 3.0 to remove distractions and AI Reflection Erase to reduce glare.

Nature-inspired design with enhanced durability

The V60’s design balances elegance and resilience. Its curved display and ultra-thin bezels create a comfortable, immersive viewing experience, while accidental touch prevention algorithms improve usability. Built to withstand daily challenges, the phone is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance, capable of handling submersion up to 1.5 metres for 120 minutes and high-pressure water sprays. It also introduces New Diamond Shield Glass, providing the most drop-resistant build in the V series, supported by an internal cushioning structure to absorb shocks.

The device comes in two nature-inspired colours, Berry Purple and Mist Grey. Features such as One-Tap Water Ejection and corrosion-proof platinum-plated ports further improve its durability for long-term use.

Power and performance for everyday tasks

Powering the V60 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform, backed by 12 GB RAM with an additional 12 GB virtual extension and 256 GB of storage. The 6,500 mAh BlueVolt Battery provides full-day power, while 90W FlashCharge technology enables rapid recharging. vivo’s Super Battery Saver and Bypass Charging features help reduce heat and extend battery lifespan.

Gamers benefit from native high frame rate support on titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and ultra-high touch sampling for precise control. The HDR10+ certified display, reaching up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, keeps visuals sharp even under direct sunlight.

The V60 also integrates AI features to improve productivity and connectivity. Google Gemini assists with managing tasks and summarising content, while AI-powered call captions and translation support clearer international communication. AI SuperLink enhances connectivity in weak signal areas, helping maintain stable calls and streaming.

Pricing and availability

The vivo V60 will be available in Singapore from 27 September 2025, priced at S$699. Pre-orders run from 22 to 26 September via platforms including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and authorised retailers such as Challenger, Best Denki, Courts, Gain City, Harvey Norman, and local telcos. Customers who pre-order will receive complimentary gifts, including a DJI Osmo Mobile SE and vivo Buds Air 3, along with a two-year local warranty and a three-month screen warranty.
