vivo X300 FE pairs compact design with ZEISS telephoto extender
vivo X300 FE brings ZEISS telephoto imaging, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, OriginOS 6 and a 6500 mAh battery to Singapore.
vivo has announced the X300 FE, a compact flagship smartphone built around mobile imaging, AI-assisted photography, and longer-term software support. The device combines a 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, a 50 MP ZEISS Main Camera, and a 110° Ultra-Wide Low-Distortion Camera in a 191g body measuring 7.99 mm thick.

The main differentiator is telephoto reach. For the first time in the FE series, the X300 FE supports a 200 mm equivalent focal length through the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2. The accessory uses a Kepler-based optical architecture with 15 high-transmittance glass elements in two groups, while its weight has been reduced from 210g to 153g compared with the previous generation.
Imaging features target concerts, street photography and video
The X300 FE’s camera system is designed for users who want stronger long-range photography in a smaller device. Its AI True Clarity Engine combines the NICE 3.0 Optical Reconstruction Engine, MAGIC 2.0 Image Restoration Engine, and Magic Cloud to improve detail and texture reconstruction in challenging lighting and long-range shooting conditions.
vivo is also pushing the device towards concert and live-event use. Stage Mode combines telephoto hardware with algorithm tuning, while Ultra-Clear Stage Photography uses the Telephoto Magic 2.0 algorithm and GTR 3.0 optimisations to improve telephoto portrait clarity under complex lighting. Dual-View Stage Video allows users to record both the stage and their reactions at the same time, while Flash Portrait uses adaptive zoom flash for low-light shooting.
The phone also includes Street Photography Mode, ZEISS Multifocal Portrait with focal lengths from 23 mm to 100 mm, and video recording options including 4K at 60fps, 4K at 120fps, and 8K at 30fps. AI Creative Camera adds AI Portrait styles, while editing tools include AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, AI Reflection Erase, and AI Erase.
Compact hardware comes with OriginOS 6
The X300 FE has a 6.31-inch flat display with ultra-narrow bezels, a Metallic Sand AG glass back, and an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. It comes in Mist Purple and Luxe Black.
The device runs OriginOS 6, which includes vivo Office Kit for productivity across Windows, Mac, and iPad, One-Tap Transfer for iPhone, Origin Island for intent recognition, vivo Security, and Private Space for isolated storage of selected files, photos, and applications. vivo says the system also includes Origin Smooth Engine and a five-year smooth experience.
Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform. The phone includes an Efficient VC Liquid Cooling System with a 4005 mm² vapour chamber and high-performance thermal graphite for sustained workloads such as gaming and content creation.
Despite the compact frame, the X300 FE carries a 6500 mAh BlueVolt Battery with 90W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless Charge. vivo says the battery uses 4th-Gen Silicon Anode Technology and an intelligent Energy Efficiency Engine to improve energy density and charging efficiency. The phone also has IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
