Both models feature an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, up to 800 nits of brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablets measure 5.75mm in thickness and weigh 485g, while retaining a 9,200mAh battery despite their slimmer build.
Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, the tablets introduce system-level intelligence powered by Xiaomi HyperAI. The interface includes redesigned lock screens, updated desktop elements and enhanced widget customisation. Productivity enhancements include a 5:5 vertical split-screen layout, a new 1:9 horizontal split ratio and an upgraded Workstation Mode that expands dock support for faster app access. The series also supports a PC-level browser with mouse-hover previews and right-click functionality, alongside integrated WPS Office PC for document creation and editing.
At the top end, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform built on a 3nm process. Xiaomi cites an 81% increase in CPU performance and a 103% boost in GPU performance compared with the previous generation. The device supports 67W HyperCharge, includes a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera, and offers up to 512GB of storage. A Matte Glass version with nano-texture etching and anti-reflective coating is also available, which Xiaomi says improves sparkle resistance by 44% over the previous generation.
The standard Xiaomi Pad 8 uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, delivering a 32% increase in CPU performance and a 67% improvement in GPU performance compared with its predecessor. It supports 45W turbo charging and features a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, with storage configurations up to 256GB. The series is compatible with the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and a range of keyboard and cover accessories aimed at transforming the tablets into lightweight productivity devices.
Xiaomi Watch 5 and REDMI Buds 8 Pro emphasise hands-free interaction and immersive audio
The Xiaomi Watch 5 runs on Wear OS 6 and integrates Google services including Google Calendar, Google Maps and Google Wallet with NFC. It is also the first Xiaomi smartwatch to feature Google Gemini out of the box, enabling hands-free assistance for navigation, information queries and daily task management.
Gesture controls powered by EMG, IMU and PPG sensors allow users to perform actions such as dismissing calls, silencing alarms and controlling the smartphone camera remotely. The watch houses a 930mAh battery with 10% silicon-carbon content and uses a dual-chip architecture combining the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 platform with a low-power co-processor. Xiaomi states that the device delivers up to six days of battery life in smart mode or up to 18 days in power saver mode. The watch is encased in a stainless-steel frame and features a 1.54-inch display protected by sapphire glass.
In audio, the REDMI Buds 8 Pro adopts a coaxial triple-driver configuration designed to deliver deeper bass, clearer vocals and balanced sound across frequencies. The earbuds support Dolby Audio and Xiaomi dimensional audio, with multiple listening modes including Standard, Music, Video, Game and Audiobooks modes tailored to different content types.
Active noise cancellation reaches up to 55dB with an extended bandwidth of up to 5kHz. An adaptive algorithm samples environmental sound up to 32,000 times per second to adjust noise reduction in real time. The earbuds offer up to eight hours of playback on a single charge and up to 33 hours with the charging case. Fast charging delivers up to two hours of listening time from five minutes of charging.
The Xiaomi Tag extends cross-platform tracking compatibility by supporting both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub ecosystems. Weighing approximately 10g, it attaches to keys or bags and offers over one year of battery life using a replaceable CR2032 battery. The device includes remote item finding, lost mode and collaborative location sharing, alongside IP67 dust and water resistance.
