Xiaomi to open its first directly managed store in Funan

Xiaomi opens its first official store in Singapore at Funan on 21 December, offering exclusive deals on smartphones and gadgets.

Xiaomi is set to open its first official store in Singapore, managed directly by Xiaomi Singapore, at Funan. The new store aims to offer customers a seamless shopping experience with its latest range of innovative products and lifestyle gadgets.

The grand opening is scheduled for 21 December 2024 at 2:00 PM, kicking off a weekend filled with exclusive promotions and discounts. This store marks a milestone for Xiaomi in the region as it shifts towards managing its own retail spaces, following its official online portal launch in October 2024.

Opening weekend deals to look out for

To celebrate the official opening, Xiaomi is offering customers special weekend promotions, with discounts of up to 50% on flagship products. Shoppers can enjoy significant savings on some of Xiaomi’s most popular items:

  • On 21 December at 2:00 PM and 22 December at 10:30 AM, the first 8 customers can purchase the Xiaomi MIX Flip smartphone at S$749.50 (RRP: S$1,499).
  • The first 20 customers can grab the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ at S$289.50 (RRP: S$579).

The offers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to stock availability. Terms and conditions apply, so early arrival is advised to secure these deals.

In addition to these opening day promotions, Xiaomi is offering up to 19% off selected items during its soft opening period, which runs until 20 December 2024.

A milestone for Xiaomi’s growth in Singapore

The Funan store represents Xiaomi’s continued commitment to expanding its presence in Singapore. Previously, Xiaomi worked through distributor partners to open stores in the country. This move to directly manage its first official store highlights the brand’s intention to provide a better customer experience, from product selection to after-sales service.

The new outlet complements Xiaomi’s official online shopping platform, mi.com, which launched in Singapore in October 2024. With both physical and online retail spaces, Xiaomi aims to make its range of innovative products more accessible to Singaporean consumers.

The opening of Xiaomi’s first official store in Funan is set to attract tech enthusiasts and bargain hunters alike, with exciting deals and a broad selection of Xiaomi’s latest products under one roof.
