Zeekr launches 9X flagship luxury SUV in China

Zeekr debuts the 9X luxury SUV in China, offering 1,000 kW power, 380 km range, advanced safety features, and a premium six-seat interior.

Zeekr, the premium electric mobility brand under Geely Holding Group, has officially launched its new flagship luxury SUV, the Zeekr 9X, in China. The model combines high performance with advanced safety and comfort features, marking a major step forward for the brand as it expands its portfolio of premium electric vehicles.

High performance with advanced electric powertrain

Built on Zeekr’s SEA-S platform, the 9X uses a revolutionary 900V high-voltage architecture and introduces the SEA Super Hybrid system. This delivers up to 1,000 kW of total power and allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. Despite its high output, the vehicle offers a pure electric range of 380 km based on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC). Charging is also designed for convenience, with the battery capable of going from 20 to 80 percent in only 8.5 minutes using ultra-fast charging technology.

Intelligent driving and safety innovations

The Zeekr 9X features the Haohan AI Digital Chassis, which combines adaptive air suspension, active roll control, and intelligent driving modes to create a smooth and stable ride. This system adapts seamlessly to different terrains, providing comfort on highways and stability on challenging roads.

Safety is a key focus, with the SUV equipped with the Haohan Safety Armor suite. This technology recently passed the world’s first four-way crash test at 105 km/h, setting new safety benchmarks. Additional features include crosswind control, side-impact lift to reduce collision risk, and automatic obstacle avoidance, enhancing driver confidence and passenger protection.

Premium interior and user experience

Inside, the 9X is designed with a focus on comfort and space. It features a three-row, six-seat cabin fitted with Cloud Lounge seats for superior support and luxury. A split electric tailgate improves access and practicality, while the 17-inch OLED central display and a 3,800W Naim audio system provide a premium digital experience. These features combine to deliver an upscale, lounge-like environment for all occupants.

Market availability and pricing

Zeekr has launched the 9X in several variants, with prices ranging from RMB 465,900 to RMB 599,900. Customer deliveries in China have begun immediately, with the model positioned to compete in the growing market for luxury electric SUVs.

The 9X launch strengthens Zeekr’s ambition to establish itself as a leading player in the premium EV segment. With high performance, cutting-edge safety systems, and a refined interior, the SUV aims to appeal to drivers seeking both innovation and luxury in an electric vehicle.
