Culture Amp, an Australian employee analytics platform, has raised US$82 million in a Series E round of funding led by new investor, Sequoia Capital China, bringing its total funding to over US$158 million.

Founded in 2011, the HR technology company helps companies improve employee engagement, retention, and performance through its platform that’s powered by behavioral science and data analytics. It has since added performance management and predictive capabilities that can provide management teams with actionable metrics and trends.

Culture Amp plans to use the new funding for product development and to accelerate its global expansion, with an emphasis on regions such as Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. The company currently operates in Melbourne, San Francisco, New York, and London.

This round of funding will also help Culture Amp to continue to drive their mission of constructing a better world of work by getting its platform to more leaders, who believe that culture is the most significant lever for success.
