Tech Week Singapore 2025 to showcase AI and digital transformation across industries

Tech Week Singapore 2025 will highlight AI and digital innovation across industries, with global leaders gathering on 8–9 October.

Tech Week Singapore will return to the Sands Expo & Convention Centre from 8 to 9 October 2025, spotlighting the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in shaping Asia’s economic future. Organised by CloserStill Media, the event will feature the theme “Connected Futures, Boundless Impact” and welcome Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, as Guest of Honour.

The annual event, recognised with the Best International Show – Asia-Pacific at the AEO Excellence Awards 2025 and Large Trade Show of the Year at the Singapore MICE Awards 2025, will bring together government representatives, industry leaders, and technology innovators. Senior executives from organisations such as AI Singapore, The World Bank Group, Google, OpenAI, and officials from Japan and Canada are expected to lead discussions on digital transformation, policy, and collaboration.

Expanded programmes and new industry focus

Tech Week Singapore 2025 will feature over 600 regional and international speakers, with high-level sessions aimed at fostering connections between senior IT leaders and business decision makers. Alongside its established co-located shows—Cloud & AI Infrastructure, DevOps Live, Cyber Security World, Data Centre World, Big Data & AI World, and eCommerce Expo Asia—the event will debut DMEXCO Asia. This marks the first Asian edition of Europe’s leading digital marketing and tech conference, launched in partnership with Koelnmesse and BVDW, to connect APAC marketing leaders and innovators.

The event’s main stage will host speakers such as Michael Conley, CIO and Executive VP of the Cleveland Cavaliers, discussing sports technology; Amy Jean Doherty, CIO and VP Information and Technology Solutions at The World Bank Group, on the challenges of AI-driven transformation; and Laurence Liew, AI Innovation Director at AI Singapore, on ecosystem synergy for sustainable growth. Other notable speakers include senior government officials from Estonia, Japan, and Canada, addressing AI adoption, organisational transformation, and citizen-centric digital governance.

Sector-specific insights and interactive experiences

Each co-located show will offer specialised theatres and keynotes. Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia will focus on enterprise technology trends, while DevOps Live will feature speakers from Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, and AIA Singapore on cloud-native development. Cyber Security World Asia will explore emerging security challenges, with contributions from Visa Worldwide, Shopee, and Changi Airport Group. Data Centre World Asia, the largest event of its kind, will return with a 75% increase in space, featuring guided tours of a live data centre.

Big Data & AI World Asia will showcase practical AI applications across sectors, with case studies from UOB, Mandai Wildlife Group, and GovTech Singapore. The eCommerce Expo Asia, alongside DMEXCO Asia, will highlight strategies for digital retail growth, featuring speakers from Toys”R”Us Asia and StarHub.

Workshops, lectures, and opportunities to earn CPD points will be available throughout the two-day programme. Attendees will have complimentary access to all six co-located shows, enabling cross-industry learning and networking.

CloserStill Media’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Andy Kiwanuka, said: “Tech Week Singapore continues to serve as a platform to catalyse collaboration across industries, bringing together technology, business, and public sector leaders to accelerate digital growth. With an expanded lineup of industry stakeholders coming on board, we have expanded the conversation to include AI and technology’s role in sectors such as digital marketing and eCommerce, creating even more opportunities for connection and impact.”
