AVATR launches AVATR 11 in Singapore, ushering in a new wave of intelligent luxury EVs

AVATR debuts in Singapore with the AVATR 11, offering luxury EV design, intelligent tech, and immersive driving experiences.

Luxury electric vehicle (EV) brand AVATR has officially launched in Singapore with the unveiling of its flagship AVATR 11 model. The exclusive launch event took place at Capella Singapore on 25 July, marking the brand’s regional debut with a strong statement on technology, design, and premium mobility.

Founded in 2018, AVATR is a joint venture between China’s state-owned Changan Automobile, battery technology leader CATL, and tech giant Huawei. The collaboration aims to redefine luxury mobility through innovation, intelligent features, and emotionally resonant design.

To celebrate its entry into the Singapore market, AVATR hosted an exclusive event attended by media, partners, and industry tastemakers. The AVATR 11 was unveiled in dramatic fashion by Singaporean celebrity Fann Wong and Dean Sciole, Chief Global Brand and Communications at AVATR, adding star power to the brand’s first showing in the country.

Guests were treated to an immersive showcase that included a live installation by Meridian, AVATR’s premium in-car audio partner, which brought the sound system’s capabilities to life in a multi-sensory display. A rare preview of the AVATR 012 was also featured at the event. Limited to just 700 units globally, the 012 is a co-creation between AVATR’s Chief Design Officer Nader Faghihzadeh and designer Kim Jones, formerly of Dior Men’s and Fendi. The model integrates elements of couture fashion into the automotive space, emphasising AVATR’s blend of style and innovation.

The AVATR 11 is a mid-sized electric SUV that blends the bold silhouette of a supercar with the everyday practicality of a utility vehicle. Measuring 4,880mm long, 1,970mm wide, and 1,601mm tall with a 2,975mm wheelbase, it delivers a commanding road presence. The model’s proportions are engineered around a 0.61 axle-length ratio, often regarded as the ideal for supercar aesthetics.

Design details include signature F-shaped LED lights, a floating roofline, a full panoramic sunroof, and a bold front fascia. Customers can choose from six colour options, including Glossy White, Liquid Caramel, and Matte Grey. The AVATR 11 is available with either 21- or 22-inch wheels equipped with Brembo brakes, reflecting its performance ambitions.

Two variants are offered – Standard Range and Long Range – powered by CATL’s 90kWh and 116kWh battery packs respectively. Both support fast charging, with the 90kWh battery charging from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, and the 116kWh battery doing the same in 25 minutes. The Standard Range model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, while the Long Range completes the sprint in 6.9 seconds.

Safety and driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and rear collision alerts. The car’s five-star safety structure also enhances passenger protection and preserves battery integrity and cabin air quality.

Inside, the cabin offers a calm, upscale environment defined by AVATR’s ‘Future Elegance’ design language. Nappa leather covers the front Zero-Gravity seats, which include heating, ventilation, and five massage settings. A triple-screen curved display anchors the dashboard, supported by ambient lighting in 256 colours and a 25-speaker Meridian sound system.

“Design is about emotion, and AVATR expresses the connection between form, identity, and movement in a way few vehicles do,” said Dean Sciole. “AVATR is our vision of a vehicle that lives, breathes and moves with you and every surface, material and interface is crafted to deliver an experience that feels intuitive and inspiring.”

Where to experience AVATR in Singapore

From 26 July, the AVATR 11 will be available for public test drives and viewing at the Premium Automobiles Centre, located at 281 Alexandra Road, Level 2. A temporary showroom will also operate at UOB Plaza 2, 80 Raffles Place, from 1 August to 16 October.

Both locations will operate from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sundays. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore AVATR’s technology, experience the vehicle first-hand, and book test drives.

As AVATR begins its journey in Singapore, it aims to carve a niche in the growing luxury EV segment by offering a compelling blend of intelligent technology, premium craftsmanship, and distinctive design.
