ASUS launches TUF Gaming Series Five monitors with flagship 300Hz model

ASUS debuts TUF Gaming Series Five monitors in Singapore, with flagship models offering 300Hz refresh and advanced gaming features.

ASUS has announced its new TUF Gaming Series Five monitors, offering over 20 models tailored to a wide range of gamers. The new lineup introduces upgraded features across performance, visual quality, software, and ease of control. Leading the range is the VG27AQML5A, a 27-inch QHD monitor with a 300Hz refresh rate and 0.3ms response time, designed to meet the needs of competitive players. Another standout model, the VG34WQML5A, features a 34-inch ultrawide panel with a 250Hz (OC) refresh rate and 0.5ms response.

The Series Five monitors are expected to arrive in Singapore by the end of August 2025.

Enhanced performance and smooth gameplay

The new TUF Gaming Series Five monitors focus on five key areas of improvement. First, ASUS has introduced significant speed enhancements, with refresh rates up to 300Hz and response times as low as 0.3ms, delivering near-instant feedback in fast-paced gameplay.

To ensure consistently smooth visuals, the monitors support both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies, reducing screen tearing. ASUS has also included its proprietary Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) Sync technology, which eliminates ghosting effects during high-frame-rate sequences.

For colour performance, the displays offer vivid imagery with support for up to 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut and VESA DisplayHDR 400. These enhancements aim to create a more immersive and visually accurate gaming experience.

Smart features powered by AI

ASUS has added several AI-based enhancements to the Series Five range. These include Dynamic Crosshair, which automatically adjusts the crosshair’s colour based on the background for better aiming, and Dynamic Shadow Boost, which brightens dark areas of a game scene to help reveal hidden opponents.

The monitors also include AI Visual technology, which detects on-screen content and applies optimal settings automatically. All of these features can be managed through ASUS’s DisplayWidget Center software, which provides a streamlined interface for adjusting settings without using the on-screen display menu. Users can also use the software to apply professional gamer presets or transfer their own configurations between monitors.

Availability and pricing in Singapore

The flagship VG27AQML5A model is equipped with a 27-inch QHD panel, a 300Hz refresh rate, 0.3ms response time, and includes all the key upgrades of the Series Five line-up. It will retail for S$429.

Meanwhile, the VG34WQML5A caters to gamers who prefer ultrawide displays. This 34-inch QHD VA monitor features a 250Hz (OC) refresh rate, 0.5ms response time, and strong colour accuracy with 95% DCI-P3 support. It will be priced at S$529.
