LG unveils advanced digital signage solutions at ISE 2025

LG showcased cutting-edge digital signage at ISE 2025, highlighting AI-powered displays, upgraded micro LEDs, and outdoor solutions for diverse sectors.

LG Electronics presented its latest digital signage technologies at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, held from 4 to 7 February. Under the theme “Customised Solutions, Optimised Growth,” LG’s exhibition focused on tailored solutions for industries like retail, corporate, education, transportation, and hospitality. The displays highlighted how LG’s advanced technologies are designed to meet the diverse needs of B2B clients while enhancing the overall customer experience.

LG’s AI-powered kinetic LED steals the spotlight

LG made a bold statement with its ‘shape-shifting’ Kinetic LED display, located at the entrance of its booth. This cutting-edge screen features 88 connected LED panels, measuring 7,180 x 4,090 millimetres. The panels, combined with mirrors, form cube-shaped modules that can rotate 360 degrees horizontally, creating dynamic and captivating visuals.

Visitors could interact with the Kinetic LED by uploading photos taken on their smartphones through a QR code. LG’s generative AI then transformed the photos into Pop Art-style images, displayed on the screen. Developed in partnership with Kinetic solution provider Easywith, this interactive feature served as an engaging advertising tool, inviting visitor participation.

Additionally, LG showcased advanced display technologies developed in collaboration with its domestic and global partners. Key partners included Triplet, which focuses on AI-driven customer behaviour analytics, and Kokomo 24/7, which specialises in school access management and emergency response solutions. Other collaborators, such as Megapixel VR, Mo-Sys Engineering, and Brompton Technology, contributed their expertise in broadcast equipment and virtual production. LG also worked with corporate video conferencing providers like Logitech, Cisco, and Crestron, alongside signage-specific content management company BrightSign, to highlight innovations in collaborative technology.

Upgrades to LG MAGNIT and high-brightness outdoor displays

LG revealed upgrades to its LG MAGNIT micro LED displays, focusing on easier installation, better content compatibility, and improved energy efficiency. The new design allows installers to adjust the spacing between LED modules from the rear, a task previously only possible from the front. Compatibility with content controllers has been enhanced to deliver optimal colours and image quality, while standby power consumption has been reduced by up to 98%, improving overall energy efficiency. These innovations were displayed in LG’s LED Tech Zone.

For outdoor signage, LG introduced high-brightness displays featuring its Anti-Discoloration technology. This advanced solution protects screens from yellowing caused by prolonged sunlight exposure. The technology, the first of its kind to be certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), was demonstrated in simulated environments such as a bus stop, sports stadium, and drive-thru restaurant.

Retail-focused solutions and centralised display management

In the Retail Zone, LG exhibited a wide range of solutions tailored to retail environments. Highlights included second-generation modular kiosks designed for versatility and ease of installation, as well as three fire-safe digital signage models (US5P, UV5N, and UP5Q) with flame-resistant outer casings certified under UK (BS476) and EU (EN13501-1) fire safety standards.

LG also showcased its LG CreateBoard series, designed for both educational and corporate settings. The lineup includes the high-end LG CreateBoard Pro, the standard LG CreateBoard, and the cost-effective LG CreateBoard Core, catering to various user needs.

Additionally, LG featured its LG Business Cloud platform, which enables centralised management of commercial displays. Through this platform, businesses can manage their digital signage networks conveniently and efficiently.

Park Hyoung-sei, president of LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, stated, “LG is committed to providing commercial display solutions tailored to the specific needs of diverse business environments. As a leader in the B2B market, our goal is to deliver innovative solutions that elevate the value of commercial, public and educational spaces, while also enabling transformative customer experiences and supporting the growth and success of our clients.”
