Remote launches AI-powered surveys to boost employee engagement

Remote has launched AI-powered Remote Surveys, helping companies collect and act on employee feedback, alongside new global HR tools.

Remote has introduced Remote Surveys, an AI-powered feature designed to help companies collect, analyse, and act on employee feedback in real time. The new tool enables organisations to run company-wide engagement surveys in under a minute, offering HR leaders immediate insights across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.

Addressing the demand for better employee experiences

The launch comes as businesses place increasing importance on employee experience. According to Remote’s Global Workforce Report 2025, the average Singapore-based white-collar firm now employs talent across three or more countries, a number expected to grow by 2026. Among all countries surveyed, Singapore businesses were most likely to identify employee experience as a defining capability for high-performing HR teams in the future.

Despite this, nearly 29% of HR leaders say their current HR technology lacks actionable insights, creating a gap between employee data and meaningful action. Remote Surveys aims to bridge this gap by linking feedback directly to outcomes such as productivity, retention, and engagement. This approach helps companies detect risks early, act with confidence, and deliver consistent experiences for employees worldwide.

Part of a broader platform expansion

Remote Surveys is part of a wider set of platform updates designed to simplify global workforce management. The company is also rolling out:

  • Programmable global payroll, which turns payroll into an integrated system with features such as structured reviews, multi-level approvals, automated statutory payments, and native integrations with platforms like Workday and NetSuite.
  • Expanded HRIS automations and workflows to streamline repetitive tasks such as onboarding, with AI-powered workflow generation expected later this year.
  • Remote Mobility, now available on demand, offering immigration, relocation, and business travel support backed by in-house mobility experts and local legal partners.

These features are intended to help companies scale internationally without significantly expanding HR headcount while maintaining compliance and consistency in employee experiences.

Supporting global growth

“Work has become truly global, and companies are navigating new dimensions of people, compliance, and experience,” said Job van der Voort, CEO and co-founder of Remote. “High-performing organisations are building their people strategies on AI-enabled workflows. Our role is to give HR teams the leverage to meet these demands with clarity, compliance, and a human touch.”

By consolidating payroll, mobility, HRIS, and employee engagement into one platform, Remote says it provides enterprises and startups with the tools to grow internationally while keeping operations efficient.

Remote Surveys, programmable payroll, HRIS automation, and Remote Mobility are now available to all Remote customers worldwide.
