Agora unveils Fuzozo, an AI-powered collectible that learns and connects

Agora launches Fuzozo, an emotionally intelligent AI-powered collectible, at SuperAI Singapore to engage Gen Z with real-time interaction.

Agora has introduced Fuzozo, an emotionally intelligent AI-powered collectible aimed at Generation Z, at the SuperAI Singapore conference. Built with Agora’s ConvoAI Device Kit, Fuzozo offers real-time, emotion-driven interaction designed to evolve with its user. The launch signals a shift in the world of smart toys, combining AI with designer collectibles to provide companionship and personalised engagement.

With the popularity of toys like Labubu paving the way, Agora sees strong potential for Fuzozo in markets like Singapore, where nearly 30% of the population belongs to Gen Z and digital engagement levels are among the highest globally. According to the Singapore Digital Economy Report 2024, Gen Z in the country averages 422 active digital days per year. This makes the demographic highly receptive to smart, always-on products that reflect their digital-first habits and preference for authentic connection.

The local environment is also increasingly favourable for AI adoption. The proportion of large enterprises in Singapore using AI jumped from 16.7% in 2018 to 44% in 2023. In parallel, the toys and games market is expected to grow from US$1.34 billion in 2024 to US$1.66 billion by 2030, driven by disposable income levels and demand for connected experiences.

Smart design built for emotional engagement

Fuzozo offers an interactive experience that goes beyond basic connectivity. Using Agora’s MEM (Multi-Emotion Model) and ECHO CHAIN bionic memory system, the device adapts to its user by learning from daily interaction and developing a personalised emotional profile. This allows each unit to feel unique over time, adjusting its behaviour and personality to better suit its owner.

The device also supports tap-to-connect NFC technology, allowing Fuzozo units to share data and unlock gamified social experiences in the real world. With integrated voice, gesture, and vision capabilities, users can have fluid and natural interactions with the device, turning conversations with Fuzozo into a key part of the experience.

Tony Zhao, CEO of Agora, said, “Fuzozo represents a new category of AI — one that’s not just reactive, but relational. It combines the charm of collectibles with the emotional intelligence of real-time AI, showcasing how our infrastructure can enable the most intimate, human-centred forms of engagement.”

Powered by Agora’s real-time AI platform

Fuzozo runs on the ConvoAI Device Kit, Agora’s proprietary low-latency software development kit. This technology is designed to enable real-time AI interactions on consumer devices, with efficient processing for voice, emotion, and gesture input. The kit ensures stable performance even in environments with high noise or limited bandwidth, allowing for smooth and uninterrupted conversation.

This product launch builds on Agora’s ongoing work in AI-driven experiences across the Asia-Pacific region. Previous innovations included AI voice agents, smart glasses, and educational bots, all of which have helped expand the role of AI in everyday consumer products. With Fuzozo, Agora is deepening its focus on emotionally aware AI that enhances lifestyle and personal connection.

Live demonstration at SuperAI Singapore

Fuzozo is being demonstrated at SuperAI Singapore from 18 to 19 June at booth PB2. This debut provides an early look at how emotionally intelligent AI devices can reshape the connected toy segment. The launch also reinforces Agora’s position as a leader in real-time engagement platforms for developers and consumers alike.

Agora’s technology is already used by over 1,700 organisations worldwide to power voice, video, chat, and live streaming applications across sectors including education, telehealth, and e-commerce.
