AXS launches rewards programme across Singapore’s bill-payment network
AXS launches a rewards programme that lets users earn bill offsets and vouchers through everyday payments on its mobile app.
AXS has rolled out a new rewards programme designed to add tangible value to everyday bill payments, signalling a shift in how routine transactions are recognised within Singapore’s digital payments landscape.

The programme, known as AXS Rewards, allows users to earn and redeem rewards when paying bills through the AXS mobile app. It builds on the platform’s long-running incentives, including lucky draws, and reflects a broader effort to improve customer experience through practical features shaped by user behaviour.
As one of Singapore’s longest-established payments platforms, AXS plays a central role in everyday transactions. The company operates the country’s largest bill-payment aggregation network, connecting users to more than 800 billing organisations across government services, utilities, financial services and telecommunications.
Built around everyday payment behaviour
AXS said internal survey findings reinforced the importance of bill payments as a regular and essential activity for consumers. More than 53 per cent of respondents indicated that utilities and telecommunications bills account for the bulk of their recurring payments, underscoring how routine and unavoidable these transactions are.
At the same time, a growing share of users are choosing digital channels for payments. Feedback highlighted a desire for greater value and engagement within the app, without undermining the simplicity and reliability expected from a core payments service. According to the survey, 53 per cent of respondents prefer cashback-based rewards, while 41 per cent are motivated by loyalty points.
The survey also revealed that many consumers currently use multiple payment platforms each month, largely to optimise rewards and incentives. AXS believes this fragmentation creates an opportunity to consolidate bill payments into a single app, while still offering rewards that remain relevant across different spending patterns.
How AXS Rewards works
Under the AXS Rewards programme, users earn AXS Coins when they complete bill payments through the AXS mobile app. The rewards mechanism applies across all bills and billing organisations available on the platform, with no exclusions based on category or provider.
The accumulated AXS Coins can be redeemed for AXS vouchers, which are used directly to offset bill payments. By keeping redemptions within the payments ecosystem, the programme is positioned as a way to reduce recurring expenses rather than encourage discretionary spending elsewhere.
To mark the launch, AXS has introduced a limited-time promotion that guarantees users a Mystery Box after completing a single bill payment. Each Mystery Box offers a chance to win vouchers worth up to US$88 off future bills, adding an element of anticipation to the payment experience.
Quah Chun Han, Chief Executive Officer of AXS Payments, said the initiative builds on how the company has traditionally approached bill payments. “Paying bills is an essential but uncelebrated part of daily life, and there’s always a desire for more value from services our users already rely on,” he said. “AXS has always tried to incentivise it through our very popular lucky draws, and AXS Rewards is another further step in the same direction to improve the bill management experience.”
He added that the scale of AXS usage made the introduction of rewards a logical next step. “When 1 in 3 working adults use our platform to pay and manage their bills, it only makes sense to make it worthwhile and gratifying for them,” he said.
Plans to expand the rewards catalogue
AXS said the current rewards offering represents the initial phase of a broader roadmap. The company plans to expand the rewards catalogue by Q2 2026, introducing additional redemption options beyond bill offsets.
Future rewards are expected to include deals and vouchers spanning food and beverages, travel, routine services and selected experiences. This expansion is intended to encourage ongoing use of the app while preserving its primary role as a reliable bill-payment platform.
AXS Rewards is now available on the AXS mobile app, with full eligibility and redemption terms accessible within the application. The company said the programme aligns with its longer-term focus on modernising payments while remaining grounded in everyday utility.
Founded in 2000, AXS has supported the payments needs of Singaporean consumers and merchants for more than 25 years. Today, it serves more than one million users through a network of over 630 self-service kiosks, alongside its web-based and mobile platforms, providing access to more than 800 payment services nationwide.
