Devialet marks Lunar New Year with Year of the Horse campaign and refreshed product lineup
Devialet celebrates Lunar New Year with a Year of the Horse campaign and updated Phantom, Mania, Gemini II, and Dione audio products.
Devialet has unveiled a Lunar New Year campaign celebrating the Year of the Horse, positioning sound as a force defined by motion, energy, and intensity. The campaign draws on traditional Chinese symbolism, where the leading horse is sensed through the dust it raises rather than seen directly, using this imagery as a metaphor for the physical presence of sound.
The campaign frames sound as an emotional and physical journey, emphasising renewal and heightened sensation during the festive period. Devialet links this narrative to its long-standing collaboration with the Opéra de Paris, highlighting a shared commitment to craftsmanship, artistic heritage, and acoustic innovation. This association reinforces the brand’s intent to combine advanced engineering with cultural expression during a season traditionally associated with reflection and new beginnings.
Central to the campaign is the idea that sound should move beyond conventional acoustic boundaries. Devialet positions its products as delivering an intensity that places listeners at the centre of the soundstage, reinforcing the notion of sound as something felt as much as heard. The Lunar New Year initiative also provides the thematic foundation for updates across several of the company’s flagship products.
Phantom Ultimate and Mania highlight design evolution and portability
Devialet Phantom Ultimate anchors the company’s latest product updates. Designed by Devialet’s engineers and designers in Paris and first presented in September 2025, the speaker is positioned as a refinement of the brand’s established sound signature. Phantom Ultimate delivers more precise sound reproduction and introduces new connectivity options, aiming to create a more immersive and accurate listening experience.
The speaker is available in two power levels, with its elongated silhouette further refined in the 108 dB version for a more streamlined appearance. Its performance is driven by three proprietary Devialet technologies: ADH New Gen hybrid amplification, SAM signal processing, and HBI bass architecture. These technologies are designed to deliver high sonic fidelity, strong physical impact, and an extended frequency response. The user experience has also been redesigned, with the integration of the DOS3 operating system and support for a wider range of streaming protocols. A refreshed Devialet App simplifies setup and navigation, while offering multiple listening modes and a six-band equaliser for detailed sound customisation.
Phantom Ultimate is available in two new colour finishes, Light Pearl and Deep Forest, alongside an Opéra de Paris edition. The latter features side panels decorated with 22-carat gold leaf, hand-applied by master gilders at Ateliers Gohard. Alongside Phantom Ultimate, Devialet has also introduced a new Opéra de Paris edition of its portable speaker, Devialet Mania Opéra Rouge. While maintaining the same acoustic performance as the original Mania, this edition adopts visual elements inspired by the Palais Garnier, including a garnet-toned body and deep burgundy accents on the handle and woofers.
Devialet Mania delivers high-fidelity 360-degree stereo sound designed to adapt to different environments. It incorporates Active Stereo Calibration, which analyses room acoustics and adjusts audio output in real time, alongside a cross-stereo architecture with four full-range drivers. With up to 10 hours of battery life and an integrated handle, the speaker is positioned for use on the move. The new Opéra Rouge finish joins existing Deep Black, Light Grey, and Opéra de Paris editions.
Gemini II and Dione expand immersive personal and home audio
Devialet has also refreshed its personal audio and home cinema offerings for the Lunar New Year period. The Devialet Gemini II wireless earbuds bring together more than a decade of the company’s acoustic development, focusing on sound quality, comfort, and advanced noise control. The earbuds feature Adaptive Noise Cancellation, which adjusts noise reduction levels in real time based on the surrounding environment and how the earbuds fit, alongside Active Wind Reduction to minimise wind interference during outdoor use.
Gemini II adopts a universal ergonomic shape designed to ensure stability during movement and is housed in a compact charging case that balances practicality with refined design. The earbuds will be available in two new finishes, Light Pearl and Deep Forest, from 27 January 2026. These colours were first introduced with Phantom Ultimate, creating a consistent aesthetic across Devialet’s product range. They join the Opéra de Paris edition, which features a 24-carat gold-plated finish.
For home cinema, Devialet Dione represents the company’s all-in-one soundbar approach. Designed to replace traditional multi-component systems, Dione delivers immersive sound without the need for a separate subwoofer or satellite speakers. Compatible with Dolby Atmos 5.1.2, its performance is built on three patented technologies that shape sound in 360 degrees. SPACE technology upscales any audio signal into an immersive format, while ORB, the central channel, adapts mechanically and acoustically to the soundbar’s orientation. Advanced Dimensional Experience further optimises multichannel performance through digital filtering and speaker positioning analysis.
Devialet Dione features an acoustic architecture comprising 17 neodymium drivers, including eight internal subwoofers arranged in a push-push configuration to deliver deep bass from a slim chassis. The soundbar adapts its output through four listening modes based on placement and on-screen content. It is available in a Matte Black finish and an Opéra de Paris edition featuring a 22-carat moon gold central plate inspired by the Opéra Garnier.
