Diablo 4 hosts dual limited-time events ahead of Season 10 conclusion

Diablo 4 launches two limited-time events to boost progression as Season 10 approaches its end, while major changes are planned for Season 11.

Diablo 4 is preparing to wrap up Season 10, and Blizzard is marking the final stretch with two limited-time in-game events designed to help players progress more quickly. With a little over a month remaining before the season ends on 9 December, the developer is offering greater rewards to encourage players to complete their seasonal journey, unlock cosmetics, and strengthen characters before Season 11 begins.

Boosts return to support end-of-season progression

The familiar Mother’s Blessing event will make its return from 28 October, offering players increased experience and gold gains. Previous iterations of Mother’s Blessing have provided a 35% boost to experience and a 50% boost to gold, and players are expecting similar bonuses this time around. The event has become a regular feature, usually appearing at least once per season, and is widely welcomed by those looking to level new characters or refine late-game builds.

Alongside Mother’s Blessing, Blizzard is launching a new event called Seasonal Splendor. This event increases the amount of Infernal Warp earned, a seasonal currency that powers upgrades to Chaos abilities. These abilities were introduced as part of Season 10’s focus on Infernal Hordes, Diablo 4’s intense endgame challenge mode. With stronger Chaos powers available, players will find it easier to push further into late-game battles and unlock more difficult encounters.

Blizzard has not confirmed how long either event will run, although similar past events have lasted around two weeks.

Season 10’s closing weeks offer time to refine builds

Season 10, known as the Season of Infernal Chaos, introduced notable changes to Diablo 4’s structure. The season reworked the Infernal Hordes activity, allowing for deeper progression opportunities, and added Chaos Armour sets that provided players with powerful build-enhancing options.

The new late-season events provide an extra window for players to chase seasonal rewards, tackle unfinished objectives, or experiment with new character builds. With boosted experience and gold, levelling alternate characters also becomes easier, giving long-time players a reason to revisit different class styles before the season ends.

The current season concludes on 9 December, leaving several weeks for players to use the additional bonuses before the transition to the next major update.

Major reworks set to arrive in Season 11

Season 11, which will begin immediately after the conclusion of Season 10, is expected to introduce some of the most significant gameplay changes Diablo 4 has seen so far. Blizzard has outlined plans to overhaul the game’s gear progression systems, including major updates to Tempering and Masterworking, and the addition of a new upgrade stage called Sanctification.

Other planned changes include replacing the current Renown progression with a Seasonal Rank system for seasonal characters and adjusting how potions work to resemble Diablo 3’s mechanics more closely. The season will also reintroduce leaderboards, allowing players to compete for ranking in various challenges.

Blizzard is also making enemies more challenging by expanding monster affixes and improving enemy behaviour to make combat less predictable. Season 11 will additionally debut Diablo 4’s first new world boss since launch: Azmodan, the Lord of Sin.

Looking further ahead, Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 4’s second expansion is planned for 2026. According to datamined information, the expansion may potentially include the return of the Paladin class, though the developer has not formally announced details.
