Garmin unveils Venu X1 smartwatch with 2-inch display and sleek ultrathin design

Garmin introduces the Venu X1 smartwatch in Singapore with a 2-inch AMOLED display, built-in flashlight, and up to 8 days of battery life.

Garmin Singapore has introduced the Venu X1, a new addition to its smartwatch line-up that features a slim 8mm profile and an industry-first 2-inch AMOLED display. The launch was announced on 17 June, with availability starting from 8 July through Garmin Brand Stores, online platforms, and authorised retailers in Singapore.

Built with a titanium caseback and scratch-resistant sapphire lens, the Venu X1 aims to combine durability with style. It includes a built-in speaker, microphone, and LED flashlight, offering practical features for everyday use. The smartwatch also boasts up to 8 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, enabling users to stay connected and active with fewer interruptions.

“Venu X1 is the perfect blend of form, function and style. Not only does it pack all of Garmin’s most popular features into a slim profile, but the large display makes it easy to see everything from preloaded maps and workout stats to health insights and smart notifications with stunning clarity,” said Mr Scoppen Lin, Assistant General Manager, Garmin Asia.

Designed for everyday use

The Venu X1 introduces Garmin’s largest display yet, allowing users to view workout metrics, health data, maps and smart notifications with improved clarity. The rectangular watch case with rounded corners maintains a lightweight profile while ensuring comfort for all-day wear.

It comes with a 24mm quick-release ComfortFit nylon band and offers users the ability to customise built-in watch faces. This includes viewing key health and activity data such as step count, heart rate, altitude and training readiness. The display also supports various font sizes to make on-screen information easier to read at a glance.

Two colour options—black and moss—will be available at launch. The watch is designed to fit both casual and active lifestyles, with materials chosen for both comfort and long-term durability.

Smart features for enhanced connectivity

In addition to health and fitness tracking, the Venu X1 includes a built-in LED flashlight that improves visibility in dark settings. The onboard speaker and microphone allow users to make and receive phone calls directly from the watch when paired with a compatible smartphone. It also supports voice assistant integration and select voice commands, such as starting a running activity or setting a timer, without needing a phone connection.

These additions reflect Garmin’s growing focus on building comprehensive wearables that support users in both fitness routines and daily life. The Venu X1 is priced at SGD 1,099 and is positioned as a premium option for those seeking an all-in-one smartwatch solution.

Expanding Garmin’s ecosystem

The Venu X1 further strengthens Garmin’s presence in the wearable technology space, where it continues to offer products aimed at improving wellbeing and activity tracking. Garmin’s devices cater to a wide range of users, from casual wearers to serious athletes, and the Venu X1 reflects this versatility.
