Lenovo and Motorola join FIFA Club World Cup 2025 as official partners

Lenovo and Motorola named official partners of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, providing tech support and global fan engagement.

Lenovo and Motorola have been named official partners of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, marking a significant milestone in the companies’ global sports partnerships. As part of the collaboration, Motorola becomes the Official Smartphone Partner of the tournament, which will be held in the United States from 14 June.

This newly expanded edition of the FIFA Club World Cup will feature 32 top clubs from all six football confederations, competing across 63 matches over four weeks. It marks a new chapter in global club football, with FIFA aiming to create a more inclusive and globally connected competition.

Technology and branding support throughout the tournament

As official partners, Lenovo and Motorola will supply a range of hardware, software, and smart solutions to support the tournament’s logistics and team operations. These include Lenovo’s AI-powered PCs, tablets, and workstations, as well as Motorola smartphones. The technology will be used by FIFA and all participating teams for collaboration, content creation, and operational support throughout the event.

Lenovo and Motorola’s branding will feature prominently at stadiums, with pitch-side LED displays and video board content running before, during, and after matches. In addition, exclusive content will be filmed pitch-side using Motorola’s latest smartphones, including models from the 2025 Motorola razr family.

Sergio Buniac, President of Motorola, said: “Motorola is proud to support this new global club football landmark with smarter technology. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 represents an incredible opportunity to showcase not only the world’s best football clubs, but also the transformative potential of innovation. Through our infrastructure, devices – from smartphones to Lenovo PCs and servers – and services, we’ll help FIFA deliver a globally inclusive tournament for fans around the world.”

Supporting a new global football tradition

FIFA’s Secretary General, Mattias Grafström, welcomed the partnership. “The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup will mark a new era in global club football – one that is inclusive, innovative and more connected than ever before. We’re delighted to have Motorola and Lenovo joining us for this groundbreaking tournament. Their world-class technology and global perspective will help elevate the experience for fans, teams and other stakeholders.”

The collaboration aligns with Lenovo’s broader strategy to support major sporting events with smart technology. The company has a track record of involvement in high-profile sports partnerships and continues to promote its message of “smarter technology for all”, both on and off the pitch.

Football fans around the world are expected to attend and follow this inaugural expanded tournament. Tickets are currently available via FIFA.com/tickets for those who wish to witness the launch of this new chapter in international club football.
