Xiaomi launches new smart vacuum cleaners in Singapore

Xiaomi introduces the Robot Vacuum H40 and S40 in Singapore, offering hands-free cleaning with smart features and high-performance suction.

Xiaomi has expanded its range of smart home appliances in Singapore with the launch of two new robot vacuums — the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 and Robot Vacuum S40. Both models are designed to simplify home cleaning routines by offering advanced features and smart connectivity.

The new devices are now available in Singapore and aim to cater to different household needs, whether it’s managing long cleaning cycles or handling powerful suction tasks in large living spaces.

Smart automation with Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 is built to deliver a hands-free cleaning experience, especially for those who want to minimise manual effort. It comes with a 4-litre disposable dust bag that can hold debris for up to 90 days before needing replacement. This feature makes it suitable for users looking for a low-maintenance vacuuming solution.

The H40 uses an LDS laser navigation system and multiple sensors to map and move around the home efficiently. It can avoid obstacles, cross thresholds, and return to its docking station automatically when the battery is low, helping to prevent any disruption during cleaning.

For added convenience, users can set specific cleaning zones using the Xiaomi Home app, including targeted areas around furniture. The app also allows users to monitor cleaning progress in real time and adjust settings remotely. Shortcut options such as low-noise or deep-clean modes are available, and the vacuum supports voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

High-powered cleaning with Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40 is designed for more demanding cleaning tasks and comes equipped with a high-performance suction fan rated at 10,000Pa. It offers four cleaning modes — Silent, Standard, Strong, and Turbo — to tackle various types of debris, from fine dust to pet hair. A built-in anti-tangle system helps prevent hair from clogging the brush, reducing the need for maintenance.

With a 5200mAh battery, the S40 can operate for up to 180 minutes on Standard mode, making it ideal for cleaning larger homes. Like the H40, it supports simultaneous vacuuming and mopping. The mop pad is kept evenly damp for effective floor cleaning, and users can select from three water flow levels using the Xiaomi Home app.

The S40 includes a 520ml dustbin and a 270ml water tank, which helps reduce the need for frequent emptying and refilling. It also relies on an LDS laser navigation system and a full suite of sensors to move around the home smoothly, detect environmental features, and avoid obstacles.

Control is centralised in the Xiaomi Home app, which offers real-time tracking, personalisation, and remote commands. Users can also activate the vacuum using voice assistants such as Alexa or Google Assistant.

Both devices reflect Xiaomi’s continued efforts to integrate smart automation into everyday home appliances, offering convenience, efficiency, and customisable control for modern households. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 (S$319) and S40 (S$229) are available on mi.com, Shopee, and Lazada in Singapore.
