Sonic gaming adventure takes off at 165m on the Singapore Flyer

Enjoy a Sonic-themed adventure on the Singapore Flyer with gaming, refreshments, and exclusive perks. Runs till March 23, 2025.

Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog are in for a treat as Sega and the Singapore Flyer join forces to bring you a one-of-a-kind gaming experience. Coinciding with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in cinemas across Singapore, this collaboration offers you a chance to immerse yourself in the world of Sonic like never before.

Experience Sonic X Shadow Generations in the sky

The Singapore Flyer, one of the city’s most iconic attractions, has launched a Sonic-themed capsule inspired by the game Sonic X Shadow Generations. Step inside this exclusive capsule decked out with vibrant cutouts of Sonic and Shadow and enjoy a thrilling 30-minute gaming session high above the city. Shared PlayStation 5 consoles are set up to let you and your friends play the game while taking in the breathtaking views of Singapore.

As part of the experience, you’ll also be treated to light refreshments, including a special house-mixed Sonic-themed mocktail. The highlight of the refreshments is handcrafted chocolate by Janice Wong, one of Singapore’s top chocolatiers.

The perks don’t end there. Each ticket includes a collectable action figure from the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, adding a tangible memento to your adventure.

Exclusive benefits and lucky draw

Your ticket, priced at US$58 (S$79), offers more than just the gaming experience. You’ll enjoy priority boarding and check-in at the Singapore Flyer’s VIP Lounge, ensuring a seamless start to your adventure. Admission to the Time Capsule, a fascinating multisensory exhibition chronicling Singapore’s rich history, is complimentary with your ticket.

Moreover, ticket holders can participate in a social media lucky draw. You could win exciting prizes by posting about your experience with the Sonic capsule, such as official merchandise from the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, copies of Sonic X Shadow Generations, and discount vouchers for the 165 Sky Dining experience.

Mark your calendars

This limited-time collaboration runs from December 26 to March 23, 2025. The Sonic-themed capsule operates daily with five time slots: 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm. With only a few slots each day, booking in advance is recommended to secure your spot.

Whether you’re a lifelong Sonic fan or just looking for a unique outing with friends, this high-flying gaming experience promises fun, thrills, and memories that’ll last long after the ride.
