17LIVE Group Limited (17LIVE) celebrated its seventh anniversary with a grand event, the “Super Live Streaming Festival 2024 – Everyone has a Dream that Can Come True,” at Shinjuku’s Sumitomo Hall. Drawing over 1,000 attendees, the event brought together popular livestreamers, known as “Livers,” along with dedicated fans and well-known entertainers, highlighting 17LIVE’s achievements and growth in Japan. Honouring top livestreamers and celebrity performances

The “Super Live Streaming Festival 2024” also served as an awards ceremony, recognising the best of 17LIVE’s “Livers.” Winners were selected through a month-long contest, which took place from August to September, with 34 standout livestreamers awarded across categories such as music, gaming, and lifestyle. These creators were celebrated for their talent and dedication to engaging their communities.

Award-winning livestreamers were invited on stage to receive their honours and showcase their unique skills, joined by notable celebrity guests. High-profile artists, including EXILE SHOKICHI, members of NMB48, Yuki Kashiwagi, and Miku Tanaka, performed live, adding excitement for attendees and showing support for Japan’s vibrant livestreaming community.

“The livestreaming community in Japan is extremely vibrant, and we want to show our appreciation to the Livers who make 17LIVE the platform of choice here,” said Jiang Honghui, Executive Director and CEO of 17LIVE. “Supporting creators in this growing space is central to our mission, and we are committed to nurturing their success and dreams through our products and events, and make 17LIVE a fun and empowering platform for all our Livers.”

Expanding connections through live streaming

To make the festival accessible to more fans, 17LIVE broadcasted the event live on its app, allowing people worldwide to join the celebration and connect with the top livestreamers. This virtual access aligned with 17LIVE’s goal of empowering connections and supporting creators, giving fans worldwide a way to enjoy performances in music, lifestyle, and gaming genres. The live stream experience reaffirmed 17LIVE’s place as a leader in Japan’s rapidly growing livestreaming sector.
