Allgreen Malls launches Singapore’s largest public EV charging hub at Great World

Allgreen Malls has launched Singapore’s largest public EV charging hub at Great World with 55 charging points and new ultra-fast chargers.

Allgreen Malls has unveiled a major electric vehicle charging hub at Great World, positioning it as Singapore’s largest public single-site facility of its kind. Operated by Great Charge, a subsidiary of Allgreen Properties, the hub spans levels B3 and B3A of the mall’s car park and is scheduled for full completion in mid-December.

The site will house 55 charging points, including 20 of Huawei’s new 480kW DC ultra-fast chargers. Great World will be among the first locations in Singapore to offer these high-powered units. The hub will also include 12 DC fast chargers rated at 180kW and 23 AC chargers at 22kW. The chargers are being rolled out progressively, with the goal of ensuring high availability and shorter waiting times for drivers.

According to the company, the 480kW chargers can deliver up to 200km of driving range in about five minutes, depending on vehicle capability and battery size. The 180kW chargers are expected to provide a similar range within 20 to 30 minutes.

The new hub builds on the deployment at Pasir Ris Mall, which launched in December 2024 with 20 units of 180kW DC chargers. Together, the two sites offer a mix of fast and slower charging options to suit short errands or longer stays. Payment can be made using contactless methods at the terminal or through the Great Rewards app, which also supports points and rewards redemption.

Mr Tho Leong Chye, Managing Director of Allgreen Group, said the company is committed to improving charging accessibility as Singapore moves towards cleaner transport. “Allgreen Malls is proud to play a part in Singapore’s forward momentum when it comes to improving infrastructure for EVs. With the launch of our EV charging hubs at Great World and Pasir Ris Mall, we aim to enhance convenience and accessibility for our shoppers and the surrounding communities, making EV-charging an integral and effortless part of the everyday lives of Singaporeans. This initiative also reflects Allgreen’s commitment to supporting Singapore’s sustainability goals and fostering a clearer, greener future for all.”

Huawei International’s CEO, Mr Maxi Wang, said the partnership supports the nation’s broader plans for carbon neutrality. “Huawei is delighted to partner with Allgreen Malls to enable Singapore’s journey towards carbon neutrality. We are committed to advancing clean energy and smart e-Mobility solutions, enhancing EV charging infrastructure and sustainability. We are confident that Huawei’s ultra-fast chargers are highly reliable, efficient, and easily scalable to accommodate Singapore’s future needs.”

Promotions for EV drivers

To mark the launch, Allgreen Malls is rolling out a series of promotions centred on rewards, discounted charging rates, and a major lucky draw.

From 7 November 2025 to 3 March 2026, shoppers and EV drivers across Great World, Pasir Ris Mall, Tanglin Mall, and The Seletar Mall can participate in the Wheels of Joy campaign. Every S$20 spent on charging at Great World or Pasir Ris Mall, or every receipt of at least S$60 at any Allgreen Mall, counts as an entry. The grand prize is a Zeekr 7X, a five-seater SUV featuring a spacious interior with massage seats, an 800V charging system capable of charging from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 10.5 minutes, and a 21-speaker audio system. Three additional winners will receive a one-week staycation at Great World Residence.

Introductory charging prices at both hubs have been set among the lowest in the market. DC charging is available at S$0.600 per kWh including tax, while AC charging is priced at S$0.545 per kWh.

Drivers can also earn Carpark$ rewards. From now until 31 December 2025, anyone who charges at least S$20 at either hub will receive S$1.50 in Carpark$ via the Great Rewards app. Payment can be made directly through the app or by uploading a receipt after paying at the terminal.

Additional rewards for taxi and PHV drivers

As part of efforts to support the driver community, Allgreen Malls will offer complimentary refreshments for taxi and private hire drivers. From 7 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, eligible drivers who charge a minimum of S$20 at either hub can redeem a Toast Box voucher for a Toast and Small Hot Beverage. Redemption is limited to the first 240 redemptions at each mall and requires proof of same-day charging along with a vocational licence.

The initiative aims to strengthen support for essential drivers while making EV charging a more rewarding experience. It also reflects Allgreen Malls’ wider plans to integrate sustainability, convenience, and customer engagement across its retail destinations.
