Confluent Cloud now listed under new AI category on AWS Marketplace

Confluent Cloud is now available in AWS Marketplace's AI Agents and Tools category, supporting real-time data access for AI applications.

Confluent has announced that Confluent Cloud is now available under the new AI Agents and Tools category on AWS Marketplace. This development allows AWS customers to more easily find, purchase, and deploy Confluent’s fully managed data streaming platform using their AWS accounts. The move is aimed at accelerating the development of AI agents and agentic workflows.

Real-time data key to scaling AI agents

As businesses scale their use of AI agents, one of the biggest challenges lies in enabling seamless data access across systems, agents, and tools. Without fresh and reliable data, AI agents risk delivering outdated or incorrect information—or becoming entirely ineffective.

Confluent Cloud addresses this challenge by streaming, processing, and governing data across an organisation in real time. The platform acts as a central data pipeline, allowing AI applications to interact with continuously updated business information rather than static or batch-based data sources.

“Data silos are the single biggest barrier to making AI agents truly enterprise-ready,” said Shaun Clowes, Chief Product Officer at Confluent. “Without seamless access to real-time, trustworthy data, even the most advanced AI models can’t deliver on its promise. By offering Confluent Cloud in AWS Marketplace, we’re providing customers with a streamlined way to access our cloud-native data streaming platform, helping them buy and deploy AI agent solutions faster and more efficiently.”

Streamlining AI procurement on AWS

The addition of the AI Agents and Tools category in AWS Marketplace aims to simplify the procurement process for organisations looking to deploy AI-driven solutions. By using existing AWS accounts for purchases, companies can maintain centralised control over licensing, payments, and access, removing the need for extended vendor evaluations and contract negotiations.

Confluent Cloud’s inclusion in this category provides a direct route for businesses to access real-time data streaming capabilities that support AI innovation. By enabling a continuous stream of contextual data, Confluent helps businesses transition from fragmented systems to intelligent, data-driven operations.

Supporting future-ready AI applications

Confluent Cloud is designed to make data continuously available and actionable, which is essential for building responsive AI systems. This improves decision-making, enhances customer experiences, and supports innovation at scale. The platform creates a shared real-time data foundation that AI agents can tap into, enabling more adaptive and intelligent behaviours.

With growing demand for AI-powered capabilities across industries, the partnership between Confluent and AWS offers a reliable and scalable solution to help businesses move quickly without compromising control or data integrity.
