LG electronics elevates home entertainment retail experience with Scanteak

Customers can immerse in a warm, welcoming home environment with LG televisions and Scanteak’s quality teak furniture

With experiential retail shaking up the retail scene around the world, LG Electronics (Singapore) stays ahead of the game with its first-ever partnership with Scanteak, one of the leading furniture stores in Singapore, to value add to a customer’s shopping journey. With a focus on home entertainment, customers can look forward to a refreshed concept where they can enjoy a home-away-from-home experience at Scanteak’s new showroom and selected electronics stores.

Reimagine home entertainment within a scandinavian interior

Stepping into the brightly lit and spacious retail floor at Scanteak Henderson, customers will be awed by the beautiful display of LG OLED TVs around the store which adds a touch of style and elegance to the space. Boasting an ultra-thin form factor that is only 20mm thin, the 65-inch G1 OLED TV flushes seamlessly on the wall akin to a piece of art in the gallery, complementing any décor with digital art pieces playing on the screen.

At the heart of the LG TVs are cutting-edge technologies that deliver an exceptional viewing experience. LG’s OLED panels feature self-lit pixels that illuminate individually, producing perfect blacks and infinite contrast, and offers rich, vivid colours thanks to its 100% colour fidelity so customers can enjoy realistic picture quality no matter what content is playing. The top-of-line OLED evo G1 TV stars the newest evo OLED panel technology that delivers a brighter, sharper image for a stunning display. The showroom also features the 55-inch OLED C1 TV, 65-inch NANO80 NanoCell TV and 43-inch UP7550 UHD 4K TV.

The televisions are strategically placed within different zones of the showroom, from the living room to home office and bedrooms, allowing customers to envision how the TV can fit into different spaces and draw inspiration for their own homes. Marrying both online and offline channels, customers can scan a QR code in-store to find out more product information on LG’s website or even purchase through LG LazadaLG Shopee or authorized retailers, ensuring that the e-commerce experience is seamless and convenient.

Redefine an immersive home entertainment experience

Elevating the home entertainment set-up at selected retailer stores, customers will be transported to a whole new level of viewer immersion with the full home theatre set-up comprising of LG’s television and soundbar, accompanied by the stylish and comfortable furniture from Scanteak. Offering a personal and cozy experience like home, customers can lounge on the sofa or daybed while putting LG’s TVs to the test for the ultimate cinematic or gaming experience. The Scanteak set-up is exclusively available at COURTS Megastore in Tampines North, COURTS The Heeren, Harvey Norman Millenia Walk Flagship Store and Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut.

“The collaboration reflects our understanding of the growing importance of experiential retail in physical stores. Through this cross-channel partnership, customers from both LG and Scanteak will benefit from having a first-hand experience with our popular TVs and quality furniture at the same place and time,” said Chang Ha Lee, Home Entertainment Product Director. “This provides greater ease and convenience as they do not have to travel to two different locations to shop.”

“At Scanteak, we believe in the importance of bringing families together and that means providing these people with a space they can feel most comfortable in and at home. Partnering with LG – an industry leader and globally recognized innovator for its leadership in OLED TVs, ensures that we not only bring comfort but also premium and outstanding electronic options to our consumers for a holistic shopping experience,” said Jamie Lim, CEO and Regional Marketing Director of Scanteak.
