OPPO launches A6 Pro 5G in Singapore with multi-year durability

OPPO launches the A6 Pro 5G in Singapore, combining long-lasting battery life, durability, and smooth performance for everyday use.

OPPO has introduced the A6 Pro 5G in Singapore, a smartphone designed to deliver long-lasting performance and withstand daily wear and tear. The device combines a large-capacity battery, reinforced durability, and advanced system optimisation to meet the needs of users seeking both reliability and smooth performance.

Battery designed for longevity

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G features a 6,500mAh battery in Singapore, with some markets offering a 7,000mAh version. It incorporates OPPO’s Battery Healing Technology, which uses specially developed electrolytes to repair battery materials and slow degradation. This allows the battery to retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 1,830 charging cycles, equivalent to more than five years of daily use.

The large battery supports up to 40.6 hours of talk time and 20.6 hours of online video playback. With fewer charging cycles required, the phone offers extended lifespan and more sustainable performance. OPPO has also introduced its 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge to the A Series for the first time, enabling a full charge in 60 minutes and an 11% boost in just five minutes. Intelligent charging management ensures minimal wear, helping preserve capacity and maintain consistent all-day power.

Toughness for everyday challenges

Beyond power, the A6 Pro 5G has been built to handle harsh conditions. The handset meets military-grade shock resistance standards, supported by OPPO’s AM04 high-strength aluminium alloy, which is over 70% stronger than conventional die-cast aluminium. Sponge Bionic Cushioning technology further protects key components such as the camera and battery from impacts, drops, and even vehicle pressure.

The device also carries IP69 certification, offering resistance against dust, high-pressure water jets, immersion in water, and hot water splashes. A precision-engineered unibody design with reinforced seals ensures the phone remains protected after years of use.

Eason Xu, Product Marketing Manager at OPPO, said: “Each device is built to last—reliable and tough inside and out, and ready to perform for years to come.”

Smooth performance with long-term fluency

Running on ColorOS 15, the A6 Pro 5G integrates OPPO’s Luminous Rendering Engine and Trinity Engine for improved visual fluency and energy efficiency. These systems enhance performance during gaming, streaming, and multitasking, while also addressing memory fragmentation through the One-Tap Refresh feature.

The smartphone has passed OPPO’s 60-month fluency test, achieving strong performance in areas such as app start-up speeds, boot times, and multimedia handling, even after five years of use. This ensures the device remains responsive and smooth throughout its lifespan.

Availability in Singapore

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G with 256 GB storage will be available in Singapore from 1 October 2025 in Stellar Blue and Coral Pink at a retail price of S$399. As part of the launch, customers will receive a complimentary Bluetooth headset while stocks last.

The phone will be available at OPPO Concept Stores, the OPPO Official Online Store, major e-commerce platforms including Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, Amazon, iShopChangi, and KrisShop, as well as authorised retailers and operator channels such as M1, Singtel, and StarHub.
