Pop Mart and CapitaLand launch love-themed CryBaby collaboration

Pop Mart and CapitaLand are bringing love to the malls with a CryBaby-themed collaboration that will run until March 14.

Love is making a splash at the malls as Pop Mart Singapore and CapitaLand team up for a special Valentine’s Day collaboration. The event, titled ‘Love Is A Blind Box’, revolves around Pop Mart’s popular CryBaby toy series and runs until March 14.

Giant CryBaby inflatables take over the city

The highlight of this collaboration is two massive 8-metre-tall CryBaby inflatable figures placed at different locations in the city. These characters, Stupid Cupid and Kiss Kiss – Angel Version come from Pop Mart’s CryBaby Crying in Love series.

You can spot Stupid Cupid at Plaza Singapura from February 17 to March 14. Meanwhile, Kiss Kiss – Angel Version will be at CQ @ Clarke Quay from 17 to February 28 before moving to Bugis Junction from 1 to March 14.

In addition to these inflatables, there are more photo opportunities at Funan and Westgate. Funan features the Unlock Me character and a CryBaby-themed photo booth in its atrium. Westgate showcases the Angel and Devil versions of Kiss Kiss, adding to the Valentine’s festivities.

With five different locations participating, four are always active at any time, so plan your visits accordingly.

Social media contest with Pop Mart prizes

Pop Mart is running a social media contest to celebrate this collaboration, where fans can win exclusive prizes. To enter, take a photo at any of the display locations, follow @CapitaLandMallsSG and @popmartsg on Instagram, and post it with the hashtags #LoveIsaBlindBox and #loveintheair.

Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on March 14, and five lucky winners will receive a Pop Mart hamper worth over S$200.

Exclusive deals and rewards for shoppers

No event is complete without special promotions, and Pop Mart has plenty in store for fans. Exclusive CryBaby products are available at Pop Mart outlets in Bugis Junction, Funan, Lot One, Plaza Singapura, and Westgate. Plus, shoppers who spend over S$88 in-store will receive a surprise CryBaby’s Tear Series gift.

As part of the CapitaLand partnership, shoppers can also earn STAR$ rewards. You’ll receive 1,000 STAR points with a minimum spend of S$50 and five times the usual STAR points for spending S$200 or more. The top three highest spenders across all participating malls will each earn 500,000 STAR points and a Pop-Mart hamper worth over S$150.

With giant inflatables, photo spots, contests, and exclusive rewards, ‘Love Is A Blind Box’ brings a fun and interactive way to celebrate love this season. Don’t miss out on the chance to join in before the event wraps up on March 14.
