Saudia opens second experience store in Jeddah

Saudia has opened its second Experience Store in Jeddah, offering travellers advanced digital services, personalised support, and exclusive merchandise.

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has unveiled its second Experience Store in Jeddah, expanding its innovative retail concept following the debut of its first branch at Roshn Front in Riyadh. The new space reflects the airline’s ongoing transformation and its commitment to creating more engaging and seamless customer experiences.

The Jeddah store, located on Prince Saud Al Faisal Street, replaces Saudia’s former sales office and has been redesigned into an interactive hub inspired by the airline’s refreshed brand identity. It provides a modern alternative to traditional ticketing offices, giving travellers access to advanced digital tools and personalised support.

Combining technology and personalised service

At the Experience Store, guests can browse Saudia’s network of global destinations, explore exclusive Saudia-branded merchandise, and enjoy a dedicated lounge for AlFursan loyalty programme members. Visitors can also complete travel procedures with ease and receive after-sales support, aiming to make the journey more straightforward from planning to boarding.

The space integrates digital self-service solutions to help customers manage bookings, upgrades, and ancillary services, while also offering in-person assistance when needed. It is designed to handle a wide range of customer needs in one location, bridging physical and digital touchpoints.

The store is open to the public from Sunday to Thursday between 9 AM and 5 PM. Saudia expects it to become a destination for travellers and local visitors alike, offering an immersive way to connect with the airline’s expanding international network.

Modern design and safety standards

Developed by Saudia Real Estate, a subsidiary of Saudia Group, the Jeddah Experience Store has been built to meet high engineering and architectural standards. It incorporates advanced safety features and complies with the latest requirements for commercial and public spaces.

This launch is part of Saudia’s broader strategy to modernise its customer experience and strengthen its position in the competitive aviation market. The airline has been investing in digital transformation, fleet upgrades, and enhanced service delivery.

Saudia currently operates one of the youngest fleets in the region, with 149 aircraft serving nearly 100 destinations worldwide. Its network spans four continents and includes all 26 domestic airports in Saudi Arabia. Saudia is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO), and SkyTeam, the second-largest global airline alliance.

The airline has recently received several industry accolades, including “Best Airline Staff Service” for 2025 by Skytrax, a “World Class Airline 2024” ranking for the third year running, and “Best in Class for Service & Guest Experience 2025” by APEX. It was also recognised by Cirium as the world’s most punctual airline.
